Oh my gosh. Right now I am currently snowed in with one of my best friends Celia. It’s currently 1:40 pm and we have a total of twenty four inches with an expectation of more snow until 10:00 pm. The only good things about being stuck inside this long means we can binge watch The Carrie Diaries on Netflix, catch up on the book I’m reading at the moment, and some major planning for Styled By McKenz’s upcoming posts. By request, today I’m showing you eight different ways to style a flannel. Old Navy is definitely my go to place to purchase a wallet-friendly flannel that is super comfy and can be styled endless amounts of ways.
Style #1: Around your waist– Although this isn’t my go to look, the fun thing about fashion is experimenting. This definetly isn’t my style but I love this outfit for a casual and super practical look.

Style #2: Under a long sleeve- This style is something I tried for the first time this week as a way to restyle my long sleeve preppy t-shirts. I love this with jeans and I love that this can easily be transitioned into leggings.

Style #4: With a jacket and\or a scarf- The easiest way to stay warm while still looking adorable is adding a denim jacket and a scarf. I love love love this outfit for a day out around town and can be dressed down by simply taking off the jacket.
