Hi guys, it’s been a few weeks since my last faith journey post so I figured I would do a little update and share with you some recent passages that have really spoken to me and a few pages from my bible that I made super cute with just a pen and colored pencils! Yesterday was Ash Wednesday which marked the first day of Lent. I’m making sure to spend a minimum of twenty minutes with my Bible and talking with Jesus everyday. I hope some of you can relate to my thoughts below, thank you for reading! With love, McKenz.
Psalm 32:15 “But I trust in you Lord.” I found that I love this passage most because it’s sole focus is on putting our trust in God and allowing Him to take the lead despite the confusion and uncertainty we might have. We must allow faith to lead our way and be convinced that it will lead us to better things.
Psalms 32:10 “Love surrounds those who trust in the Lord.” This is by far my favorite Psalms passage that I have read so far. Something is so comforting about knowing that God’s love is always within us if we trust in him. Like I said, passages that have to do with tryst seem to be the ones I’m always highlighting and underlining.
Psalm 26:1 “In the Lord I have trusted.” We are always in Gods hands and he is leading us to bigger and better things and it is better to walk in blind with Jesus and than walk in sighted without Jesus by our side.Psalms 30:2 “You raised me up.” God has sent obstacles in our path but he has always done these things to benefit us in the long run.
Love to see your faith growing, McKenze! Also find it very inspiring your lenten goal of 20 minutes a day devoted to prayer! This is what will will fill you up through life!
thank you for being such a roll model to me Auntie!!
