April Favorites

Words can not even begin to express how fast time seems to be flying. I can not believe I have been blogging for four months already. Little accomplishment seems so huge when I have so many people supporting me along the way. I am so happy with how far I have come. Sending lots of love and happiness to all the people who consistently read my posts and support me whether it be here on the blog or on my Instagram. Today I rounded up my favorite things from April and am sharing my thoughts on them. I hope you all enjoy, thank you for reading! With love, McKenz.

This month I have been using my Naked Palette so much. I find myself constantly reaching for half-baked, smog, and dark horse. It makes for the prettiest combo and really enhances my blue eyes. I’ve continued wearing a nude lip almost every day as well. For my hair I’ve been curling it like crazy and letting them last for about three days before washing my hair and repeating that routine. I’ve also been wearing the  color “Raisin The Bar” on my nails. It’s a  Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure nail polish. It’s subtle but still color which I love.

For clothing I’ve been wearing the heck out of my white bralette from American Eagle. It’s easily some of the best $20 I’ve ever spent. For shoes I’ve been reaching for my Nike’s almost every weekend, and my Birkenstocks paired with girlfriend jeans during school days. My bar necklace from Forever 21 can also be seen on my body 24/7 these days. If you’ve been keeping up with my blog you would also know that I’ve been doing quite a few people’s makeup recently which is why my StyledByMcKenz apron from Hunter&Honey has been getting so much use.

I haven’t finished Friday Night Lights yet, however, I am still loving it and hope that Lyla and Tim stay together because they’re so cute together. Also, this month I have been listening to a lot more music than usual, some of my favorite songs from this month are: People Help the People- Birdy, Terrible Love- Birdy, She Will Be Loved- Maroon 5, I Surrender- Hillsong, Oceans- Hillsong, and The Man Who Can’t be Moved- The Script.
