The end of the year is quickly approaching which means that graduation season is upon us. Today I attended two of my friends graduation party so I figured this would b the perfect opportunity to show you what I wore and how I did my makeup. I hope you all enjoy this post and get some inspiration from this!
Makeup:
before and after
Starting off with a fresh, clean face I applied the Nivea After Shave Balm as a primer all over my face. I than took the Maybelline Matte Fit Me Foundation in “125” on a damp beauty blender and applied this all over to even out my complexion. I set that with the Rimmel Stay Matte Powder. To conceal my under eye circles I applied the Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer. I was aiming for a light, warm contour so I used the Lumene bronzer and contoured my cheek bones, temples, and nose. For a highlight I took the Covergirl Eye shadow in “French Vanilla” and applied this to the tops of my cheekbones and down the bridge of my nose. For my cheeks I used Benefit’s Cha Cha Balm and the Elf Blush Quad in “Peach”. I was so pleased with how it turned out.
To start off the eyes I applied my Urban Decay Primer Potion all over to keep my eye shadows from creasing. I than applied my Maybelline Color Tattoo in “Barely Branded” all over my lids with my fingers. This eyeshadow base makes my shadows pop and enhances the colors. I applied the color “High” from my Naked Smokey Palette all over my lid with a flat shader brush. To add definition in my crease I took the colors “Combust” and “Whiskey” with a crease brush. To define my crease entirely and shape out my eyes I took the color “Hustle” from my Naked One Palette on a defining brush and applied it into my outer v. For my eyebrows I applied a little bit of Vaseline to hold them in place and than took the color “Frisk” on an angled crease brush and filled in my eyebrows. For the lashes I used the Maybelline The Falsies Big Eyes on my upper and lower lashes.
For my lips I wanted a glossy nude so I kept it super simple and minimalistic with my NYX Mega Shine Lip Gloss in “Sweet Heart”. It’s more on the peach side which looked perfect with the blush I applied earlier.
Hair:
Today I was on second day natural hair which looked wild so I threw some Not Your Mothers Beach Babe Texturizing Spray into my hair and than up into a messy top knot to keep it out of my face and looking some what in control.
Outfit:
It was on the chilly side this afternoon so I opted for a light weight blouse, capris and sandals. This top is from Loft, jeans are from Hollister, sandals are from target, watch is Kate Spade, and necklace is Forever 21.
