Hello everyone. It’s been quite some time since I posted a makeup tutorial here on styledbymcknez, but they’re some of my favorite things to write about so today I decided to share with you a soft orange makeup tutorial using the Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette. It looks beautiful and contrasts perfectly with blue eyes. If you’re interested in this simple look, keep reading!
I’m starting off my makeup with a clean, fresh face. First things first, I’m applying the Urban Decay Primer Potion in ‘Original’ all over my lids to ensure that my shadows won’t crease and will live up to their full potential.
I am then applying the Maybelline Color Tattoo in ‘Barely Branded’. This products acts as the perfect base and makes my eye shadows really pop.
Taking my Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette and grabbing the champagne shimmery shadow, I am then applying this all over the lids as my base shadow.
I’m then taking the burnt orange matte shade from the Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette and working this into my crease with a fluffy crease brush. I’m packing this on pretty heavily, as I won’t be adding any thing else directly on my crease.
I’m then taking my Wet N Wild Glitter Single and applying this onto my eyelids. Afterwards i’m taking the shimmery peach shade from my Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette and packing this over top of the glitter. The glitter makes the lid color pop and leaves a gorgeous effect. I’m also taking the matte dark brown on a tapered crease brush and working this into my outer v to create depth and definition.
I’m then applying some Vaseline to my eyebrows to keep them in place all day. Then I’m taking my Naked Basics 2 Palette and applying the color ‘Frisk’ on an angled crease brush. I’m then shaping my eyebrows and filling them in. Eyebrows are the most important part to your makeup routine, they completely change your face!
I’m then taking the NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in ‘Milk’ and applying this to the brow bone to highlight my eyes. I love this step cause it makes my eyes look so much cleaner and defined.
At the moment I have hardly any face makeup that matches me so I’m using the Maybelline Matte Fit Me Foundation as a concealer and working this under my eyes to cancel out any dark circles. I’m the applying the Maybelline Great Lash Mascara and the Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara to my upper and lower lashes.
I’m then applying the same eyeshadow from my Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette that I applied to my inner corners and used it as my face highlight. I decided not to contour but highlighted anyways to keep the look glowy.
Lastly, I’m applying the Buxom Full On Lipstick in ‘Brooklynn’ to my lips for a long lasting color.
Well, that’s it for today’s look! I hope you all enjoyed this post. If you like this style of makeup tutorials please let me know, I appreciate any and all feedback.
