Hello friends, last week I was requested to do a post all about jewelry. So here I am, doing just that. I have used the five outfits from my recent styling post and am sharing with you my tips and tricks on how I decide what jewelry to pair with it. Feel free to use these tips or alter my ideas! I hope you all enjoy.
The Boho Betty bracelets featured can be bought here, use my code “stylecbymckenz” to get 20% off your purchase.
For an outfit like this I like to keep a really sleek and classic look. I opted for a silver watch, which is timeless, and a few Alex and Ani’s. This helps provide balance between my two arms but the few bracelets doesn’t over power the look, making the wrist not the main focal point which is the goal. Also when wearing something strapless, your eyes are automatically drawn to the neck area. Wear your favorite one, my simple bar necklace is from Forever 21.
This outfit is more laid back but I’m also wearing sneakers so I like to do a medium size stack which consists of about six bracelets. It’s not too chunky but it keeps some attention on the wrist. I love this outfit for a casual outing.
Because my shoes are silver, I did not want to over do it with the jewelry. Too much metallic will kill the outfit. Sometimes less is more. For this outfit I wore my Kate Spade watch to keep the look classy and more official, I then added two Alex and Ani’s and my Boho Betty bracelet for a very mi minimalist look.
For a blander outfit I like to throw on my rose gold watch from target and lots of bracelets from various places. Alex and Ani, DSW, and Boho Betty are my favorite assortment of bracelets paired together.
For some reason whenever I wear orange I like to wear the most jewelry. I love the way it pairs with gold so I’m throwing on my Kate Spade watch and as many bracelets my heart desires. That usually ends up with twelve. This look is more bohemian so I want a lot of attention drawn to my arms as well as the shorts and shoes. I like to throw a few on both arms as well to balance it all out. I also mix gold and silver in this type of look because there are so many bracelets.
