5 Ways To Style Denim Shorts

Good morning friends. If you know me, you would know that I’m a HUGE fan of denim. Denim skirts, jeans, denim shorts, overalls, jean dresses, anything! Today I decided to sit down and style five outfits that look perfect with denim shorts. They’re basically the only thing I wear in the summertime unless I’m at cheer practice so I thought I’d share with you some of my favorite looks. I hope you all enjoy!

For the first outfit I took a classic pair of high-waisted shorts and paired them with a crop top. This is one of my favorite outfits if I’m just out and about. It’s comfy and it looks like you put some thought into your outfit without trying too hard.

These have got to be my favorite shorts ever. They have some orange and purple patchwork detailing on the front and back pockets, making them very throwback like. They look so cute paired with this burnt orange top. The brown lace up sandals give them a boho vibe which I adore.

This outfit is so classy, I love it! You can do anything with a solid colored tank. This one from Old Navy pairs perfectly with my chic lace up sandals and some denim cut offs. This outfit is so cute for a night out with the girls.

This outfit is so easy. American Eagle’s “soft&sexy” t-shirt line is my favorite. I threw on one of their tanks with some ripped shorts and paired it with my Birks for a simple, casual, and easy outfit.

I wanted to make one of the outfits on the trendier side. Wearing a bandanna around your neck is so in style right now, all the magazines and well-known bloggers are featuring them in their ootds. These guess jeans were thrifted and then cut into shorts. They are super high-waisted and very mom like which makes them pair perfectly with the girly, thin, lace up sandals. Add a red bandanna for a nice pop of color. I’m def wearing this outfit the first week of school!
