Makeup Of The Week- experimenting with new goodies

Well sadly, this was the dreaded week that I finally had to return to school. On Tuesday morning though I can’t say I was too bummed because I immediately knew I wanted to try out some of my new Christmas goodies throughout the week. I didn’t get anything significant makeup wise this year but I did get a few new things and tried to incorporate them into my daily looks. As far as the Benefit Professionals primer goes, I was super impressed. I feel as though my Nivea Primer makes my makeup last longer but the Professionals leaves my makeup looking fresher as opposed to stale once I reach hour twelve. I tried the Smashbox BB Cream on Friday but it was so bad that I had to take it off and use my trusty ole Maybelline Fit Me. It’s a shame too because I was really hoping it would be good. The Maybelline Chaotiques mascara I accidentally picked up thinking it was the Colossal mascara. Turns out it’s the mascara that purposely clumps your lashes, however, I found that depending how you sweep it onto you lashes it’s actually really good, especially layered with the Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara which I’ve always loved. The Buxom Full On Lipsticks have always been my favorite so I’m totally in love with my new shade! The Buxom single shadow was amazing as well; I was so impressed!

As you can tell I’m going through a lip gloss phase as well lol… never really grew out of that fourth-grade love of mine. Well, which look is your fav?!
