Hey y’all, and welcome back to StyledbyMcKenz. Aside from Get Ready With Me’s, I have never done a post related to hair but as I was brainstorming post ideas a few weeks back this one kept coming back to mind. I decided that since this is my blog after all and I wanted to do this post, why not?! So here I am sharing with you how I typically style my hair 6/7 days a week. Enjoy!
To begin I am brushing my hair with a comb and sectioning off the top half of it by tying it into a bun with my favorite scrunchie. This will keep it out of my face and allow the bottom half of my head to be as evenly curled as the top half! I am then taking the Infusium 23 Heat Protect and being sure to spray my strands to keep them from being completely damaged from the heat.
I am then using the 1 1/2” Infinity Pro by Conair curling iron. I typically use this iron as if it were a wand because I find it’s such easier to use this way and I like the appearance of my curls much more. After I have curled both sections of my head, reversing directions on random strands, I am taking the Got2BGlued Extreme Hold Hairspray and spraying my curls to keep them from falling throughout the day. If you’ve never tried this hairspray, you need to! It’s amazing and will hold any hairstyle. Plus, it keeps my hair looking voluminous and big which is how I like it best!
This is the finished product! It typically takes me 5–8 minutes to curl my whole head because of how fine my hair is! It’s a blessing and a curse—don’t be fooled ladies … lol. This is my favorite way to wear my hair because after a couple of days the curls will naturally fall out but my hair will still have volume which it typically lacks. Plus, it leaves my hair looking much healthier than if I were to straighten it which is always a bonus!
before and after
Well, that is it for today’s post. I know it was rather different for me to share but I wanted to upload it anyways; I hope you all enjoyed! How do you all typically wear your hair? Let me know in the comments below along with any other questions, comments, or requests you may have for me. Wishing you the best day. With love, McKenz.

This is so pretty, thank you for sharing!! I usually have my hair in a french braid or fishtail, since it’s too voluminous down, since I have super heavy, thick hair.
I wish! My hair is so thin and needs all the volume it can get, lol. Thanks for reading girly ?
