Shopper (n.) a person who shops. Let me tell you all something, I have been the epitome of a shopper ever since my three and a half month shopping ban came to an end. For those of you who are feeling lost right now, let me explain. Over winter break I obviously went shopping more than once and was racking up a rather large collection (for me) of things I didn’t necessarily need. I have never been bad about handling my money or had a shopping ‘problem’ but after break ended I decided to challenge myself and see if I could last until spring without shopping. Shockingly, I did last and because I don’t have a job it was very successful for my wallet to be saving money. However, with that being said when spring inevitably rolled around I obviously started to purchase things here and there, and of course, my mom has picked a few things up for me as well. So here I am sharing with you all what I have picked up since I was released of my ‘shopping ban’. Enjoy!I am a diehard accessory girl. It sounds crazy, but Michael’s craft store is one of my favorite places to purchase accessories from. I got this black gingham scarf and these super huge sunglasses for a total of $7! Talk about a score. (Plus, this was the perfect first post shopping ban purchase!)I am also a sucker for shoes. Doesn’t matter what brand or style… I love them all. I had a gift card to Target that completely covered the cost of these short black, block heels from Target that I have been wearing nonstop since I purchased them. I also scored these silver metallic Topshop booties for $8 from Nordstrom Rack this past weekend. They are so different than anything I have, and am completely obsessed.I was also lacking in the black category of my closet. I scored this black sweater from Kohls for under three dollars and this black cardigan from there off the clearance rack! They are perfect, simple layering pieces for the unpredictable spring weather.TJ Maxx always gets me… I purchased this olive-green bomber for $15 and am so excited to style it! It’s pretty light weight so I think it will be perfect for this weather as well as layered with sweaters for the colder months! I also purchased this simple blue mock neck tee shirt dress for $7. I think it will perfect with some simple jewelry and sandals for grad party season!I have mentioned before that I do not wear a jacket to school and it drives my parents absolutely insane. Because of this, I don’t really own a good jacket so before our weekend trip to the city, my mom insisted that I wear a proper jacket. I chose this one from the Tommy Hilfiger outlet and it was perfect for the occasion + I know I will be getting lots of use out of it. This simple white tee is from the Old Navy outlet and is perfect for all occasions. My last few finds for today’s haul are this thrifted J Crew paper bag skirt that I found for only $6 which I was so pleased about since they retail for nearly $100. And as all of you know, I have been on such a blush kick so this super cute tank from H&M was a must have. I also purchased this quarter zip while I was in NYC for my very first college visit. I am obsessed with it and it is so cozy.
What have you scored lately for your spring wardrobe?! Let me know in the comments below along with any other questions, comments, or requests you may have for me! Thank you all so much for stopping by; I hope you have a fabulous day! With love, McKenz.

Thank you so much! 🙂
Your style is just the cutest! I swear I probably would have all of those items in my hands or in my cart ready for purchase too. I saw that mock neck tshirt dress at TJ MAX, was about to buy it but then I found a dress in that same color but it was off the shoulder which at the time I didn’t own any off the shoulder dresses so I did a little switcharoo. Needless to say if my wallet permitted me I would’ve bought both 🙂
xo, JJ
Omg I tried on the off the shoulder too but $7 vs $22 got the best of me! Needless to say I’ll probably be back for another dress by the end of next week lol! Thanks for stopping by girly.

You have just such great taste with clothes! I always love your outfit photos and your hauls. How can you be this good at picking your clothes? I always take forever to buy something and sometime when I buy a piece, I don’t like it anymore after a week!
Honestly I always look at the price, if it’s over $20 I almost never bother trying it on because I know I can find something just as good cheaper either from somewhere else or at the same place a few weeks later!
Haha, thanks for the tip girl! xo
Love all these pieces! Especially that blue dress! It looks great with your hair color and tan skin!!!
