An addict (n) – a person who is addicted to a particular substance. When it comes to shoes, I most definitely am an addict. They are just so cute and can be styled over and over again; it’s hard not to resist shoe shopping when I have a birthday or a holiday is coming up. Which lucky for me, mine is! I decided to make a wishlist / must have shoe guide for spring 2017 because I honestly already have purchased a few pairs of these shoes and feel that they have become such an essential in terms of my wardrobe.
Here are my picks-
1) I have been dying for New Balance’s for over a year now. They are such a staple when looking to ‘dress up’ a simple tee and jean shorts without straying from the comfortable, stylish sneaker. I adore this gold pair, sold from J Crew’s website.
2) I have a pair of white slip on Vans that I have worn nonstop sine I received them in December. Blush is totally in this season and this pair of simple sneaks from Target can be scored for under $30. I’ll consider that a steal for these babies.
3) I also have my eye on these super fun, fringe sandals from Target. They are lace up which I obviously adore and seem like such a simple way to add something to a bland outfit.
4) Espadrille slip-ons have been seen everywhere this season. They seem so practical and trendy so I would definitely recommend getting a pair if you’re looking for a flat shoe!
5) It is no secret that I love denim, so these flat, denim slides are right up my alley.
6) The furry slide trend is not necessarily new by any means but I adore them. I feel like they are so easy and cute to throw on when running errands or lounging around.
7) Street style is always something I like to play around with if I’m feeling like my outfits are bland. The old school high-top Vans are too cute and look adorable paired with all types of denim for the efortlessly ‘cool girl’ vibe. (As far as I’ve seen on Pinterest, lol)
8) I have these simple block heels from Target in black and wear them non-stop + they are a part of my 10X10 Spring Wardrobe Challenge! I will admit, they do take a bit of breaking in but are well worth it, in my opinion. Such a steal!
9) Mules are everywhere lately. These black ones are simple and can be paired with everything; I cannot wait to start styling these!
10) I own my fair share of lace-up sandals but that obviously hasn’t stopped me from anything! This pair of beaded ones from Target are to die for and remind me of several different cultures which I think is so unique.
11) You know these wedges; you’ve seen them everywhere! I hope to one day get my hands on the $60 Steve Madden dupes, until then I’ll be constantly liking pictures of them featured on various Instagram feeds.
12) Last but not least, I chose these lace up block heels because I cannot be tamed. I love both block heels and lace ups so inevitably these shoes have my heart. They are a Target dupe for a Steve Madden pair of sandals that was popular last year and I love the cognac color!
Alright, I’ll stop there… but don’t worry, I could seriously sit here and chat about shoes for days. I’ll leave this post here in the meantime, lol. What shoes are your go-to’s or must have’s?! Let me know in the comments below, along with any other questions, comments, or requests you may have for me. Wishing you all the best day. With love, McKenz.

I’m dying to find a pair of thrifted espadrille slip-ons. Fingers crossed that they’ll pop up! Great post xx.
Yes! If not look around the clearance sections! I scored a pair of espadrilles for $6 in the fall! Just as good as a thrift store price + were brand new!
I need a pair of espadrille slip on’s for sure! And cute sneakers are a must!
Espadrilles are the best and of course a good sneaker
I’m loving the ankle tie up shoes! Even though I spent all the money I wanted for my shoes for the summer, I still am eyeing a pair like those! They’re just too darn cute to pass up!
xo, JJ
Me too girl! I can’t help spending my money on shoes! They are just so cute lol. Have a great day 🙂
I love all these shoes. The wedges are my favorite. I love how fashion bloggers are styling them. The fringe sandals are amazing. I’ve been on the hunt for a similar pair. They would make a great pair of shoes for graduation parties. Do you have any outfit ideas for graduation parties as a guest? I love the lifestyle sneaker trend. I posted a roundup on my blog a few months ago of lifestyle sneakers. I totally need to get a pair for the summer.

Thanks girl! I tried my best to pick a wide variety that would pertain to nearly everyone! I don’t have a grad gift lookbook yet, but I will totally do one if you want.
I love slip-ons, I wear them all the time too! It is so easy to put on and it can look so cute or sophisticated!! Oh and I also love your black block heels from target! I saw them on a couple of your blogposts yet and they seem so nice for spring & summer. I really think you should buy those nude/pink once, if they are not too expensive!!! xo
They are only $28 which is such a steal compared to the similar ones from places like Steve Madden! I think I’m going to ask for the nude ones for my birthday and of course a few other pairs. Thanks for stopping by, love! xoxo
I hope I can find shoes like those blockheels too, they are just so much fun. I hope you get them on your birthday 🙂
