Pinterest Outfit Recreations

I am obsessed with Pinterest and that is no secret. It is an awesome way to connect with other bloggers, gain inspiration, and keep all your favorite pictures in one place. All of these reasons being why last year I began to recreate a few of the pictures I had saved on my Pinterest account every couple of months. These posts challenge me to really look in my closet and get creative with my style and wardrobe. I totally recommend doing this if you are ever stuck in a clothing rut (like myself lately) or are interested in trying out some newer trends!

May brings varying temperatures where I live, so jeans are always a safe option. I chose a medium wash pair to style with this oh so trendy off the shoulder top. Gingham is such a classic spring print so this top looked perfect when paired with my black block heels. I felt these shoer lookd better with this top and were better suited for my daily activities. Plus I opted for no purse to dress this look down a bit.

Denim skirts have made their comeback, that is for sure! If you know me, you would know that wearing shorts is not my favorite thing by any means. I tend to reach for skirts or dresses whenever possible, however, I still love the look of denim on bottom. This denim skirt from Guess looks so cute paired with my go-to raw hem white tee and some casual, slip-on Vans.

White jeans are my absolute favorite piece during the spring time and are worn almost weekly by me + I have been loving blush this season. This simple tee, jeans, and sandals combo are such a go-to for those days when you just need to throw something on and head out the door!
