First Week Of School Outfit Ideas
Agh! Hey, everyone and welcome back to Styled by McKenz. I am so beyond excited for today’s blog post because I am kicking off my Back to School Series with a whole weeks worth of outfit inspiration!
I am aware that lots of people have already headed back to school but I still have a little over two weeks before I myself go back; therefore, I am just now getting my things together, preparing for school, and uploading my posts. So, my apologies if you are seeing this a little later than hoped for. Nonetheless, I hope you can get some style inspiration from today’s outfits!
Monday: The First Day Fit- Start the school year with your best foot forward and something you feel extra confident in, even if that means wearing all the basics. I’m wearing my espadrilles for a trendy touch, a classic denim skirt, and a simple black tank.

Tuesday: One Heck Of A Heel- The second day of school look doesn’t need to be as fancy as the first but I always like to wear some shoes with a taller heel to leave me feeling as confident as ever. I’m wearing the cutest embroidered tee and some white shorts to bring out my summer tan and elongate my legs!

Wednesday: The Statement Jeans- From the eyes of people at school, it’s to be expected for me to wear something that’s a little ‘out of the box‘ and I love that. I like making a statement and being remembered for what I wear so today I’m opting for some two toned skinny jeans and my faux glasses for the added ‘school girl’ look.

Thursday: The Fall Teaser- Despite the warm temps, I’m shooting for some fall vibes in this maroon and black dress + mules. If you’re not into thin straps or your school has a dress code don’t be afraid to throw on a simple cardigan! It added the perfect touch and kept things classy.
Outfit Details- Dress: Forever 21, shoes: Target/Merona, sweater: Kohl’s, necklace: Nordstrom, bracelets: Alex and Ani
Friday: Your Favorite Tee- Kick things back and go a bit more casual for Friday! I’m staring the look off with one of my favorite yellow tees and some unique, lace-up sandals from Target to complete this simple look.
Outfit Details- tee: American Eagle, jeans: Hollister, shoes: Target/Mossimo, bracelets: Alex and Ani, rings: Forever 21

I love all of these, especially the fall teaser and the Friday outfit! We weren’t allowed to wear spaghetti strap tank tops and the shorts had to be all the way down the the knee ? but these are all way too cute! Good luck on your junior year! Xoxo
