Back To School Supply Haul 2017

Hey, everyone and welcome back to styledbymckenz! Today, I am back with another addition to my Back To School series. As an incoming junior in high school, I have finally established a ‘standard’ in terms of which school supplies I prefer to purchase each year + what works best for me. So, therefore here I am today sharing with you my supply haul for the 2017-2018 school year. Enjoy!

Since entering high school I have preferred to use pronged folders over a single binder. I find that this keeps me better organized and takes up less space in my backpack. I picked up seven black Five Star folders so I could have one for each of my classes and added a gold metallic vinyl decal to each one. I also do a majority of my note-taking and school work in a five-subject notebook which I’ve found works best for me. I like having all of my work in one place; however, for certain AP classes there are so many lecture notes that I like to keep a separate, single subject journal! I again got all of these in black and added a gold vinyl monogram decal to each one.  For the last few years, I’ve kept my school supply color scheme to gold, black and white  so when I found this new pencil pouch at TJ Maxx I was ecstatic because that meant the same color scheme for me once again. Anyway, I chose all of my folder, notebook, and vinyl colors off of this cute pencil pouch… sounds logical, right?!I also picked up all the standards in terms of writing utensils. Which for me, meant the classic pack of Bic pencils, Bic pens in blue and black, and a few highlighters for my notes and planner!Lastly, I picked up some college-ruled filler paper and three sets of index cards for flash cards and my AP Art History class.
