August Empties / Trash Stash

I’ve had a pretty narrow mindset in terms of my blogging content these past few weeks, sticking mostly to lookbooks, outfit related posts and my Back To School series. However, today I wanted to sit down and switch gears a bit to share my August trash stash with you. It’s rare that I ever do any beauty or skin care reviews on here so sharing my empties each month is practically the closest thing to that. Before I talk any longer, let’s get on with it.As far as hair care goes, I’m starting with the Loreal Extraordinary Clay Rebalancing Shampoo and Conditioner. This set is amazing for ladies that like to limit the amount that they wash their hair. When using this I typically wait a day or two before washing my hair again as it does an amazing job of drying out the roots while keeping your hair hydrated on a day-to-day basis.

One of my favorite sea-salt sprays ever. This one adds amazing texture to the hair and is perfect for day’s where you need a bit of added volume to your look.

Product: Not Your Mothers Beach Babe Spray

Repurchase: YesThis Cetaphil cleanser is one of the best, especially after removing makeup at the end of the day. It is very gentle on the skin and does especially well on the eyes. I do want to note that this is a cleanser, not a face wash; therefore, it doesn’t prevent breakouts or help ones that you may have already. It only cleans the face.

I typically purchase from Bath&Body Works when they are having their buy three get three free deal which is what I did quite a while ago as you can tell from the holiday scents that I am still finishing up. As always, this was a great body wash and smelled awesome.

Loved the smell of this Clean and Clear face wash but unfortunately, it left my skin rather irritated and more prone to breakouts. I was rather disappointed with this face wash in particular; however, Clean and Clear has so many awesome products that I won’t stop purchasing from them.

Repurchase: Nope A classic body wash with a perfect smell. Loved this one from Dove, as it left my skin feeling so soft and hydrated.

My family has used the Aveeno lotion for years and years so it’s been a classic around my house for ages. It’s an amazing lotion as it will hydrate your skin like no other lotion around but it’s not the best smell in the world, if you ask me.

Finished up another one of my go-to shaving creams. I have nothing to say about this other than it gets the job done.

Product: Satin Care Sensitive Shaving Cream

Repurchase: Yes One of the prettiest nude lipsticks around. I have had this one for quite some time now and finally finished it yet, I’m not feeling so happy about that as it was one of my favorite colors for everyday wear at school.

Product: Maybelline Color Whisper in the shade ‘Barely Branded’

Repurchase: Yes, I need to!

My grandma gave me a sample size mascara from Loreal that she didn’t want and to say I was impressed with it is an understatement. It lengthened the lashes, added tons of volume, and lasted quite a while. The only down side is the full-size price to purchase the sucker.

As you can tell from the picture, I’ve sharpened this bad boy right down to the core. When I first purchased this brow pencil I was not impressed with it by any means but as I got sick of heavily filled in brows I quickly reached for this one and began to pencil them in for a more natural look. I desperately need to repurchase this. My only complaint about it is by far that it needs to be sharpened almost after every use.
