My Current Favorite Shoe + 3 Outfit Ideas

It’s no secret that the spotlight shoe of the year so far has been the ‘Jaylen’ wedge from Steve Madden. When doing a little back to school shopping at DSW I stumbled across a Cognac pair that was my size and only $42, which was significantly cheaper than the original price. I was ecstatic to finally jump on the blogger bandwagon with this pair of shoes and have been obsessed ever since.

Originally, I was worried that they might be a little tall to wear on an everyday basis to school + out and about, but I haven’t had any problems so far! They are surprisingly very comfortable and much easier to walk in because of the thick wedge than other heels. With such a versatile, comfortable shoe that can easily be worn throughout the various seasons, I decided to share with you how I’ll be styling these beauties from Summer to Fall with a few outfit ideas!

Camel is one of my favorite colors to wear around this time of year! It is so flattering on my skin tone and matches these wedges perfectly. I’m pairing this cute little top with some statement white flares that are on the longer side, making them the perfect pairing for my wedges. I love the modernized seventies vibes that this outfit gives off and cannot wait to rock it this Fall.

I’m pretty positive everyone knows that I have an obsession with neck scarves; they are just so chic and trendy that I simply cannot resist them! I was able to add a few pops of camel in by throwing on this cute scarf and by belting my classic skinny jeans. This is seriously the perfect outfit and would totally work in a business-casual environment!

This is the perfect transition look as I feel a cute turtleneck paired with a skirt or shorts is the best way to start easing into your Fall wardrobe. This light-wash denim skirt paired so well with a camel top and a few black accessories for all the Fall feels. I will definitely be wearing this ensemble soon!
