This week was nothing short of oh so good; my heart feels full yet again. I feel like I’ve been saying that in a whole lot of Weekly Wrap Ups recently and that knowledge is so very comforting. I am so happy that I have been blessed with this overwhelming feeling of love so frequently recently- I truly wish I could bottle up these feelings to save for later. This was the first week without cheer practice but that didn’t keep me from staying after school most days this week to help with (you guessed it) cheer things! Playoff banners are always a struggle to get done in our allotted amount of time + with the biggest game of the year (scratch that- the biggest game of my high school career) on Friday, we were left making posters galore, decorating, and doing all the major preparation that comes with this little town getting ready to support our boys of fall to another victory! I have never seen so many rowdy fans at once to watch a football game; this week was truly insane. Be sure to scroll down to catch the full scoop + my apologies for the lack of pictures and posts throughout the week. My time was most definitely occupied. Wishing you all well. With love, McKenz.

11.13.17- Happy Monday, friends! Headed home after school for the first time this year and it was so weird to have those extra few hours in my day! Needless to say I went to bed at eight!
Outfit Details- sweater: Ann Taylor Loft, necklace: BellaDesignsByBree, jeans: Hollister, socks: Kohls, booties: Steve Madden, watch: Kohls
11.14.17- I cannot lie, going home after school felt like the strangest thing ever yesterday so I ended up staying after with Lily and Colleen today to start working on some posters and locker room decorations for the football team today. I never mind when it’s just our small group hanging out a little while longer. Plus, aren’t my new gold loafers to die for?!
Outfit Details- cardigan: Hollister/TJ Maxx, tank: TJ Maxx, jeans: Gap, shoes: TJ Maxx, necklaces: BellaDesignsByBree and Ann Taylor, watch: Kohls
11.15.17- Another day staying after school to finish up the banner for this weeks game. I didn’t get the chance to snap a picture of it while we were working on it so here’s a picture of it finished and looking perfect as ever Friday night.
Outfit Details- tee: TJ Maxx, jeans: Gap, shoes: New Balance, necklace: Kendra Scott
11.16.17- Spent the evening performing with my team at our annual expo for the last time this season before heading back to the high school to start hanging posters and banners around the school + to decorate the boys’ locker room for the big game tomorrow! I had the best time with my girls tonight.
Outfit Details- sweater: Kohls, jeans: Hollister, shoes: TJ Maxx/Marc Fisher, socks: Kohls, necklace: Kendra Scott, watch: Charming Charlies
11.17.17- Today was nothing short of incredible; I know that I will carry this day with me for the rest of my life. Walked into school and nearly everything was decorated- from the hallways, to the parking lot, to the locker rooms. The game tonight was going to be huge- with 8,000 tickets already pre sold and knowing that one of these undefeated teams, Damascus (39-0) , Walkersville (25-0), would go home as a loser left the stakes high and the pressure on. School was slow due to the anticipation and willingness for 7 pm to get here sooner. The cheer squad got ready together and headed down to start cheering on our boys throughout their warm up, snap a few pictures, and be featured on the news! The game began and I swear it was the biggest nail bitter of them all; I have truly never screamed louder or harder in my life. Our boys of fall won, 7-3 bringing home their fortieth consecutive win. I have never cheered a losing game in high school; I have never been prouder. In this moment I have never loved my community more.
Outfit Details- uniform, letterman, shoes: Nfinity
11.18.17- Had a lazy Saturday morning shopping around on Old Navy’s website for some Christmas gifts and catching up on Riverdale before babysitting for the evening!
Outfit Details- flannel: Old Navy, socks: Kohls, leggings: TJ Maxx/90 Degree, shoes: TJ Maxx/Steve Madden
Those banners are so pretty, you guys must have spent so much time on them! I love how you say you’ve never cheered a losing game, since I’ve never cheered a winning one! Loved the update, as always!
Haha, thanks so much Natalie! Hope you’re doing well and that a win is in your near future xx
