A Winter Fashion Moment The Coat of My Dreams
There is something so beautifully empowering about wearing something that you feel confident, comfortable, and undoubtedly beautiful in—some may even call it magical.
Though this blush pink jacket may not be a show stopper, the simplicity of the coat itself makes me feel all those things I just described.
My beloved Aunt Cath who passed away not even a couple of months ago had the same coat; we planned to match this winter. Therefore, it is with great pride in my heart that I wear this coat that makes me feel so powerful, so aware of her.
To keep the attention drawn to my Old Navy jacket, I kept the rest of my outfit rather simple, wearing a solid black sweater and a classic pair of denim skinny jeans.
To add a little height to my look I threw on a pair of heeled booties that I received for Christmas; I’ve been wearing them non stop.
To spice things up a bit, I wore this adorable light pink hat that I purchased just a few weeks ago when in New York. Doesn’t it look perfect?!
