I feel as if the winter to spring transition is the weirdest of them all. Not only is the weather strange but the outfit choices can be tricky as well. Today, I’m here to help make that awkward transition a little easier. With the help of these few tips and tricks + a few outfit ideas, you are sure to find these next few weeks bearable!
If the weather is hovering around the thirties in the early mornings still, don’t feel as if you need to completely pack your sweater away! Pair it with your favorite skinnies and a simple heel. Often times footwear is the easiest piece to switch out because spring temperatures tend to warm up later in the day.
Feeling drab because of your dark color choices? Reach for a scarf and try the oh so fashionable trend of tying it around your ponytail! Not only will it spice up your look but if you’re running on second-day hair, this is an easy way to cover it up.

Dresses and skirts are some of my best friends throughout this time of year. They are an easy way to start showing some skin without fully jumping into those summer shorts and tanks. I recommend something with a statement sleeve like this dress as it’s a super fun way to change things up.
If you’re looking to keep your toes warm for a little longer, or sandals aren’t your jam, booties pair perfectly with a dress and are an easy way to keep the look cohesive. My gold pair are super fun for not only the winter but the spring as well!

Sometimes your favorite summer tank just needs a cardigan. This is such an easy way to layer and a simple little raincoat would be the perfect outerwear addition. I’m wearing this fun light blue to start incorporating a little bit of color into my spring outfits.
As far as footwear goes, I opted for some open back flats as they are the perfect ‘in-between’ shoe.
