April 2018 Pinterest Outfit Recreations

I’m back with one of my favorite posts of the month- my Pinterest Outfit Recreations. You all know I’m a big fan of this platform for finding inspiration and outfit ideas. For today’s post, I’ll be choosing a few of my favorite looks that I’ve pinned throughout April to recreate in hopes to get me out of comfort zone and maximize my wardrobe!

This month I’ve been using Pinterest a lot more than usual. Not only have I been pinning aesthetically pleasing images that I find on the explore feed but I recently switched to a business profile so you can pin images straight from my blog now! Plus, I’ve been able to interact with other bloggers, check out all sorts of cool new blogs, and pin some of my own looks. I decided to recreate the first look because it had all the basics- a simple pair of jeans, a classic pair of heels, and of course a striped top. I didn’t have a bright colored jacket in my closet though; therefore, I opted for a few pink accessories to complete my look.

I love this look that I pinned on Pinterest; the dress is so stunning! I had his $4 yellow dress hanging around in my closet and thought it would look cute with my pair of espadrille wedges. I popped on a denim jacket to finish it off. I wish I had a matching brown bag to take this look to another level…

Overalls have been my jam lately for sure. I paired mine with a simple white tee. I didn’t have any cool shoes like the original look so I opted for a classic black loafer. To brighten things up a bit for the spring, I reached for a light pink hat as my main accessory. I am such a fan of how this outfit turned out!

Decided to do a little reverse on this outfit because I didn’t have the exact pieces. That’s alright though because that’s what these recreations are all about- stepping out of your comfort zone and getting creative with your closet! I went with a pair of long white bootcut jeans and a denim top. Lots of layered necklaces did just the trick in tying the look together + my denim slides were the perfect finishing touch.
