School is officially out which means summer is here! While I’m stuck laying down due to my wisdom teeth surgery, I’m putting my time to good use by analyzing all the summer fashion trends. Today I’m sharing with you eighteen of my favorite trends + an affordable, trendy option from SheIn that you can instantly shop!
Tube tops are the perfect option for the summer. They look so cute with a pair of high-waisted shorts or even a denim mini! Perfect for super hot days, a concert, or even a night out. shop here
Palm prints are so fun! Not only do they give off all the summer vibes but they are perfect for vacationing, whether you be headed to dinner, pictures by the water, or even as a beach cover-up.shop here
If jean shorts aren’t your jam, don’t fret! Paper bag shorts are a super comfy option that can easily be dressed up or down!shop here
Platform shoes are some of my favorites for sure. Not only do they look stylish and trendy, but they are such a fun throwback to the 90s. These are totally giving me Rachel Green vibes- I cannot get enough!shop here
Two-piece sets are a must have for sure! They are so practical and versatile. If you bought dresses were an easy option, two pieces are even better. Not only can you wear them together but you can style the top and bottom separately which means you’re getting more bang for your buck; that’s three outfits right there!shop here
The idea of a button front clothing piece has been around since the 2016 button front denim skirt and it hasn’t gone too far. This ‘fad’ has quickly evolved into something even cuter. I am loving this midi dress with the button front detailing, very modern with some boho vibes!shop here
At this poin,t I’m not even sure that the classic summer sundress still qualifies as a trend but nonetheles,s it is a summer essential. Easy and breezy, a simple dress is the quickest way to look put together while putting forth minimal effort; I am such a fan of the smock dress style!shop here
One pieces are back and better than ever! If you’re not a bikini lover, no need to fret! SheIn has tons of one piece options. Low backs are super trendy and the detailing on this one is so adorable and provides the perfect pop of color!shop here
Overalls are some of my favorite pieces to wear in the summer but an overall dress- even better! I am obsessed with this one as the gingham is such a fun touch + spin on this old-school trend. shop here
Hop on the bandwagon and get yourself a yellow bathing suit. Yellow is my favorite color and with a tan I’m sure a suit like this one will look amazing on! shop here
Jumpsuits are the perfect night out option for the summer months. Days may be sweltering but, in a lot of areas, the nights are rather chilly- a jumpsuit will do just the trick. The material on this one is super light which makes it the best option + stripes are all the rage lately!shop here
Slides are the easiest summer sandal and tend to be more comfortable than a heeled option. I prefer a pop of color or a pair with some fun detailing to spice up a bland outfit. shop here
There seems to be a lot happening in the world of swimwear lately. A high-waisted bikini is oh so trendy and is such an awesome alternative to the classic bikini. For a lot of women, the midriff area isn’t necessarily desired to be on display, this is an easy, trendy way around that problem area. shop here
Denim shorts are by far a summer essential. Whether you’re all for a raw hem, high waist, or baggy feel you are sure to find your favorite fit. I’ve featured a pair of my favorite. shop here
You need a floppy hat for the summer. Not only are they oh so trendy and perfect for a cute Instagram photo, they keep the harmful rays off your face, neck, and scalp—double yay!shop here
If shorts aren’t your jam than made a skirt is! I love a printed mini skirt or a denim one to pair with a tiny tank or oversized tee- it’s all about proportions, my friend! shop here
Gingham and rompers are two trends I’ve spotted everywhere lately. However, paired together they are irresistible. Can’t you just imagine yourself on a fun picnic in the park in this adorable number?! shop here
I was big on all things tassels last summer and not much has changed this year. This cute tank would look perfect with a pair of white shorts or even jeans and a pair of sandals. This fun embellishment is an easy way to incorporate some color into your wardrobe!shop here
Weren’t those pieces all so adorable?! I am totally loving these trends for the summer and hope you are too + enjoy this shop-able post. Which trends will you be following this summer?! Summer trends this year are definitely not my thing, but I do like paper bag shorts. They look so nice on, such a flattering piece. Of course jumpsuits are always a good idea, oh and high waisted bikinis, those are a must. xx
Thanks so much girl! I am such a fan of jumpsuits too and am hoping to get my hands on a high waisted bikini!
