Changed Things Up A Bit…

Hey, hey, hey, everybody! It’s been a hot second since I’ve sat down to chat with you all but, of course, for all good reasons. I’ve been busy making some changes to StyledbyMcKenz. If you’re reading this post via email or the WordPress Reader, I highly suggest clicking out of it and onto my new site.

I realized that it was time for a change. As my mom and I sat down to redesign the site with a new template, it dawned on me that more than just the face of the blog needed to be revisited. When I started StyledbyMcKenz two and a half years ago, I began with the slogan ‘face, fashion, and finding yourself’. My main purpose in creating a blog, to begin with, was to find myself and establish who I am as a person, perhaps even what I want to be as I get older. It’s safe to say we’ve turned the pages, even turned chapters over in the last couple of years and here I am.

I know more than anything now, who I am. On the days I feel like forgetting, I come back to this platform and am overwhelmed with everything I am and everything I hope to be. I could not be more grateful for something as simple as a website for teaching me the most valuable life lesson of them all.

the new site!

With these realizations, I have made the site a bit more modern and a lot more me. I hope that now this website can be as user-friendly as possible and can expose you to more than just my latest post, but the work I have spent hours curating over the last few years.

I am not completely finished and still want to add a few things here and there, like the ‘shop my style’ page which will allow you to instantly buy my affordable clothing favorites. However, I wanted to get this post up to remind you all that I am alive and well—I’ve simply been working on a few things for you!
