The Outfit Ideas For Every Vacation Setting

Today I’m breaking down three different vacation settings and sharing three outfit ideas for each! I think this is the perfect way to give you all my recommendations while giving you the ultimate guide to outfit inspiration. Enjoy!

The Outdoorsy Adventure

The first adventure we’re covering is the outdoorsy one! These outfits are the perfect fit if you’re going somewhere like the trip I just went on, to Wisconsin. They are by far the best option if you’re being active and hanging outside.

I cannot get enough of a good tennis skirt. They make me feel so sporty and cute. If you’re in a more outdoorsy environment but still want to look somewhat trendy – definitely give it a go!

A longer sports bra with some high-waisted leggings is the best combination. Chacos are the perfect shoe, whether you’re in the water, hiking, or just plain walking around. This is one of my go-to outfits when fishing, boating, etc.

These are some of my favorite shorts. They are super easy to move in yet look a little bit nicer than your typical running short. These retro Puma sneakers are adorable. This look could easily be for an athletic outing or a more street style look!

The Beachy Adventure

Headed to the beach or somewhere tropical?! I’ve got your swimwear options covered here, but the next three outfits are perfect for those night-time outings when vacationing somewhere sunny.

A cute dress and slides are the best combo when at the beach. I love all the blue hues and the tassels are such a fun accent. This is definitely my favorite of the three as I prefer to dress up when vacationing!

I know many like to keep things a little more casual after a day full of beaching. This smocked top pairs perfectly with a pair of high-waisted shorts. Rainbow flip-flops are my beach day essential so I kept things easy by throwing them on to complete this look.

I know a lot of families like to take family pictures on the beach so I decided to throw this look in! A white top with a pair of jeans is essential. I kept things simple with a pair of slides so you could easily kick them off when hitting the sand. Statement earrings are a must!

The Walking Adventure

Hitting the town or walking around a fun city?! These outfits are perfect for one of those settings. If you’re looking at a lot of walking ahead of you, then these outfits are right up your alley.

Jean shorts and a tank are everyone’s summer go-to. Slip on a pair of Vans if you’re walking around the city for a long time; not only do they make this outfit complete but they are super trendy too.

If you’re hitting the town for brunch with the girls or dinner with the fam, a romper is a perfect option! I love accessorizing with gold jewelry and Jacks as they are comfortable enough to walk around town in, yet still look super cute.

This jumpsuit is a must have when you’re walking around. I love how it moves and the wide legs make it super comfortable! Not to mention it pairs so well with a pair of chunky sneakers like these New Balances. They are super fun and give off that awesome street style vibe!
