My Traveling Essentials Must Haves For The Summer
Hello, from North Carolina! I arrived here a few days ago but have taken a few days away from the blog to enjoy my time. However, with all the traveling I’ve been doing this month I’ve decided exactly which things I can’t go without when packing for a getaway. Today I’m rounding up all my essentials for you.
A Durable Backpack
In this blog post, I talked all about my Travel On backpack and covered all the reasons why this is my favorite bag to bring when traveling. A durable backpack that can fit all your extra belongings in is a must have for me when vacationing.
A Cozy Cardigan
Cardigans are such an essential. They are great for layering up when on an airplane but useful when eating in a chilly restaurant or walking along the windy beach. They serve so many purposes!
The Three Shoe Theory
When traveling I have something called the ‘three shoe theory’. One pair of shoes you bring needs to be a flip-flop. Something you can throw on easily when running around or heading to the beach. A nicer sandal is the next shoe. This you can wear out to dinner or when walking around town. And lastly, a sneaker. Even if it’s something casual like a pair of Vans; closed-toed shoes are always nice to have just in case.
An Easy Read
I refuse to travel without a good book. An easy read is a must for me when traveling as I am such a fan of reading in the car or by the water with my toes in the sand.
A Watch
Nothing better than having a good ole watch to tell time. Perfect for when you’re on the go and your phone isn’t necessarily within reach.
A Good Chapstick
The sun dries out my lips so much, especially after a full day by the ocean. I like to bring a good chapstick, preferably Vaseline to keep them hydrated.

I know this may sound a littl’ odd – but I so agree on lip balm. I seriously can’t go anywhere without some sort of lip balm. It’s such a must haha. I hope you have a wonderful week xx

I love this post and I 1000% agree with you; I can’t travel without a cozy cardigan, watch, book bag and a good chapstick…those items are absolutely essential.
