Styling My Latest Purchases

In Friday’s post I shared all sorts of pieces I recently purchased. Because there was such an abundance of clothing, I decided against making it a try-on haul. However, I’ve been so excited to start styling my recent purchases that today I’ve put together five outfit ideas that are perfect for the transition into fall. It’s been pretty hot here still, so I’m taking full advantage of it and wearing whatever my heart desires. I hope you enjoy these transition outfit ideas + seeing some of my latest finds in action!

Pop of Orange

Picked up this one shoulder top from one of my girls and love the way it paired with a classic dark wash skinny jean. I’m taking full advantage of the late September temperatures and wearing my Tory Burch Miller Sandals as much as possible while I still can. The orange is the perfect color for this time of year and matched a pair of statement earrings perfectly.

The Utility Jacket

This cropped utility jacket was one of my best thrift store finds. The Loft coat looked awesome with a simple olive-green tank paired underneath. I stuck to skinny jeans and accessorized with a cute pair of tassel earrings and chunky mules, the shoe of the season.

Black Denim + A Thermal

Jeans and a soft tee is the answer sometimes. For those days that start with a chillier morning this is the perfect combo. Black jeans scream fall and cozy long sleeves are such an essential as we ease into layering season. Slip on espadrilles are the cutest for the fall time; you totally need a pair of these!

Fake It Till You Make It

Despite the weather not cooperating, sometimes you have to fake it till you make it. Some days I feel like giving up and just throwing on a warm hued tee + cozy cardigan. If we dress the part, will fall come faster?! Lol. Wearing a new pair of high-waisted jeans and some cute gold heels to finish off the look.

The Floppy Hat + Skirt

Can’t go wrong with a denim skirt. It’s one of my go-to transition pieces as I switch over from shorts to jeans. This olive-green, long sleeve tee looked super cute knotted and paired perfectly with my fall favorite, a floppy hat. Gold metallic booties were the perfect bold statement for this look.
