October 2018 Pinterest Outfit Recreations

Happy Monday, everyone! Today I’m back with one of the most anticipated blog posts of the month… my October 2018 Pinterest Outfit Recreations!

If you’re new around here, allow me to explain. I am obsessed with Pinterest. It is my go-to source when I’m in need of a little outfit inspiration or am just feeling like getting creative. Each month I like to recreate a few outfits I’ve recently pinned with clothes in my own closet to get a little innovative with my wardrobe. Below I’m recreating three of my favorite pins from my ‘Fall Style’ Board.

Statement Sleeves + Go Go Boots

This outfit is super popular on Pinterest; I see outfit combinations similar to this one constantly circulating and for obvious reasons. I chose a lantern sleeved sweater simply because I don’t have a belle sleeved one and paired it with my go-to black denim skirt. For booties, I went with my go-go boots. I decided the rose gold pair I have would be a little more fun than the black pair considering I already went dark with my skirt choice. A matching bag and statement earrings were the perfect finishing touch for this look.

Fall Hues + Raw Hems

This is without a doubt my favorite outfit of the post. I chose to recreate this look because I just recently purchased a pair of straight leg, raw hemmed jeans and thought they would be perfect for this outfit. I chose a chunky, mustard colored turtle neck to tuck into the jeans. Rather than going for a sneaker, I went for something a little more my style, a matching mustard heel. I popped on my faux glasses to complete the look!

Cozy Scarf + Booties

I love this look and tried my best to recreate it using pieces from my closet but I definitely don’t love it as much as the original. I didn’t have a fall hued blanket scarf so I decided to go with something more on the neutral side. To match my booties, I chose a camel colored turtleneck, although I so wish I had a sweater the same color as I feel it would’ve looked ten times cuter. However, I did love this top tucked into some classic, ripped skinny jeans. A floppy hat would’ve perfectly completed this look… maybe that will be my next Fall fashion purchase.
