What a fun week it was! For those of you who have been around for a while, you know that October is the craziest month for me. Most of my time outside of school is spent practicing for our County competition which we won last night! The whole week was spent preparing for it and the next two weeks will be no different as we work towards our first State Championship title. It’s an endless process but moments like last night make it all feel worth it. I’ve been slacking big time on the blog but for all good reasons; hoping to get back into the swing of things but bear with me; I promise I am trying hard!
How many of you have been around since I announced our County Championship win last year?! I want to know! Comment below along with any other questions, comments, or requests you may have for me. Excited to hear + see what next week will bring!
With love, McKenz

10.21.18 – Kicking off this windy Sunday with a trip to the outlets with my mom and Grammy. Found some fun pieces that I can’t wait to style for you! Spent the rest of the day hanging with Connor and Andy before they head back to school and celebrating Chase on his fourteenth birthday!

10.22.18 – It’s Counties Week for cheer which means it’s spirit week time! Today was ‘Alien Day’ and was tons of fun. Luckily I had this purple sparkly set sitting around already; it was seriously perfect for today! Getting the team ready for go time.

10.23.18 – There’s no better day for me than ‘Denim Day’! I received this MDS dark wash denim dress in the mail last week and it was absolutely perfect today. My new Tory Burch platforms were the cutest addition to this look. 10/10 on today’s theme! We also placed second at our Invitational Competition tonight; super proud of how far this team has come!
Outfit Details – dress: MDS Collections, shoes: Tory Burch, earrings: Walmart, bracelets: Alex and Ani
10.24.18 – Today was ‘Devils VS Angels’ and I had a little fun with it at lunch wearing my halo but chose a classic McKenzie look for the school day, lol. I was also a part of a fashion show tonight at Style Me Sue – so so fun!

10.25.18 – Ditched the spirit day theme for today because I received a couple of awards and was inducted into the National English Honor’s Society during school today. Finishing up tomorrow’s banner during lunch today!

10.26.18 – The Friday before we compete is always a ‘Dress Up Day’ which is pretty normal for me, lol. It was Senior Night for the cheerleaders tonight so we wore our sashes around for most of the day. We got cute gift baskets and the underclassmen made us posters as per usual. We cheered in the most miserable weather conditions tonight but we did break history. My high school now holds the longest win streak ever for the state of Maryland!
Outfit Details – dress: TJ Maxx, heels: Target, earrings: Walmart, necklace: Maurice’s, bracelets: Alex and Ani
10.27.18 – Ten weeks of hard work paid off last night and I couldn’t be prouder of my team! Officially a three-time County Cheerleading Champion; now that’s a special feeling. We are onto Regionals next week where we hope to keep the winning streak alive. Here’s to an amazing start to the Senior Year season!
