I have to be honest with you all, I feel like a lot of events have been ‘lasts’ lately. My last time competing, my last banner to make, my last football game to cheer at. Suddenly all the emotions that they say come along with senior year have flooded my thoughts and I’m not sure how to feel about it. I’m excited about the change that’s coming but I’m oh so sad about saying goodbye to these moments I thought would last forever. Is this a normal feeling to be having as a high school senior?! I’m desperate to know so be sure to leave your thoughts and/or experiences in the comments below. Thanks for stopping by; enjoy!
With love, McKenz

11.11.17 – A typical Sunday spent shooting looks for the blog and catching up on homework. Trying to wrap my head around cheer season being over…
Outfit Details – tee: Style Me Sue, jacket: Shein, jeans: Hollister, booties: Details
11.12.17 – Had a doctor’s appointment this morning so didn’t end up going to school. Although I did eat some yummy Chick-fil-a (peppermint milkshake included!) and headed to my Nordstrom Fashion Ambassador meeting for the month.
Outfit Details – sweater: Old Navy, jeans: Hollister, boots: DSW, earrings: Walmart, watch: DKNY
11.13.17 – Spending so much time on the banner for this weeks game. Trying to make it my best one yet in case the outcome doesn’t go as planned. We’re turning our newspaper into a banner and I couldn’t be more excited to see the finished product!
Outfit Details – cardigan: TJ Maxx, shirt: H&M, jeans: Gap, booties: Target, earrings: Walmart, necklace: Kendra Scott, watch: DKNY
11.14.17 – Making progress on the banner after school before catching up with Connor and a baseball momma!
Outfit Details – sweater: Gap, jeans: Hollister, socks: Kohl’s, booties: Details, earrings: Walmart, watch: DKNY, necklace: Kendra Scott
11.15.17 – What do you do when there’s a random snow day in the middle of November?! Stay in your pajamas and do nothing all day, of course! But seriously, sometimes you just need a break from life and Mother Nature pulls through for ya.
Outfit Details – pajamas, duh!
11.16.17 – Fifty-three straight wins I’ve cheered for; the longest active winning streak in the entire nation came to an end on our home field tonight. My heart aches knowing I’ll never cheer another football game, that I”ll never see thousands of people line the stands in the same light again, that those boys hard work was beatable tonight. Thirteen years I’ve had the pleasure of being a part of something so small and yet so big; boy am I going to miss it.
Outfit Details – uniform, shoes: Nfinity
11.17.17 – Spent the day doing some much-needed homework catch up and received some of the cutest new Shein pieces in the mail that I cannot wait to style!
Outfit Details – sweater: Talbots, jeans: Hollister, boots: Hunter, socks: Hunter, jacket: TJ Maxx
Look, you were eating Pringles even back then. Maybe you were preparing for all those banners that you would create. 🙂
Clearly we were, lol!
Eeekkkkk! I feel like I’m so behind with reading and commenting on blog posts, I can’t wait to go back and catch up with you! I love that cozy brown jacket, I’ve been seeing them everywhere and have totally convinced myself that I NEED one! Also, your snow day looks absolutely beautiful; we definitely don’t get anything close to that here in the south! I hope you have an awesome day and an even better holiday! xo
