The temperatures are dropping fast as winter quickly approaches, which means it’s officially time to start dressing for the weather. In addition to everyone’s favorite puffer jackets and knit hats making their way back into the rotation, there are tons of trends fresh on the racks waiting to be styled by fashionistas like you! Today I’m breaking down this season’s trends and styling three of my favorites for you.
Chilly mornings call for lots of layers. Start with a cozy long sleeve and finish off with your favorite cardigan, outerwear, and winter weather accessory! When trying to keep warm, the more the better.
Layered up in a turtleneck and a fluffy cardigan! I went with a cheetah print coat over top for an additional layer. I added a white fluffy hat to keep my ears warm. Heeled booties and matching socks were the perfect footwear to complete this look!

We saw matching two-piece sets become all the rage this past summer and winter is now putting a different spin on them. As comfy as PJs, the soft sweater and sweatpant combination will leave you wanting more.
We’ve seen metallic in the past, but never as bold as it is this year. Whether you’re rocking this trend in a pleated skirt, heeled bootie, or puffer jacket, you are sure to look fresh off the runway.
Wanted these silver metallic booties to be the center of attention so I went with an all black look and played with texture by wearing a velvet top! The blazer added a fun workwear vibe without being too stuffy.

Who said floral was just for the spring? Beautiful blooms have been spotted as one of the most popular prints of the season. You’re sure to look ultra-feminine when wearing this style.
What would winter be without fur? Faux is the way to go as many retailers are making the switch in order to help endangered species. Rock it on a big coat or a classic vest and you are sure to make a statement.
Blush hues are my absolute favorite around this time of year. To play off the feminine vibe I’m adding a faux fur vest for an extra layer of sass. Metallic heeled booties complete this outfit perfectly!

Now this is a style that will truly never go out of style. Dating back to the roaring 20s on flapper dresses, this fun, unexpected style is the sassiest style to rock. Can’t you see the New Year’s pictures in this trend already?!
No matter what trend you choose to wear this season, you are sure to make a statement! Don’t forget: it’s not about what you wear, it’s about how you wear it!
