Updated Skincare Routine Winter 2018

Upon receiving Clean and Clear’s new lemon line for reviewing purposes, I’ve switched up my skincare routine! Today I’m breaking down the five products from this line and how they are benefitting my skin this winter.

Before I begin, I do want to mention that I don’t have acne prone/problematic skin and would consider my face to be normal-dry. Therefore, these products may not necessarily have the same effect on your skin as they do mine!

Lemon Gel Cleanser

Gently cleanses skin while cutting through oil and dissolving dirt

This super gentle cleanser smells amazing and has worked wonders in cleaning my face lately. It removes excess makeup, dissolves dirt, and overall brightens the skin. Did I mention it has a pump; that makes me love it even more!

Lemon Zesty Scrub 

Buffs and brightens with gentle micro-scrubbies

This is definitely my favorite of the two face washes. I find that using this every other day is the perfect amount for my skin. Not only does it gently exfoliate the dead skin, but it leaves the face feeling extra smooth afterward. This is perfect for removing all of that dry skin that comes with the colder months.

Lemon Exfoliating Slices 

Swipes away pore-clogging dirt, oil, and impurities

These little slices are the cutest with their lemon shaped cut-out! I like to use these as an alternative to washing my face as I know they are cleaning it but are a quick and easy way to do so. Perfect for when you wake up in the morning and are in a rush.

Lemon Juicy Toner 

Gently expels impurities and tones skin

After I get out of the shower and have finished removing my makeup + washing my face, I pour a bit of this onto a cotton pad and gently wipe down my face.  This gently tones and brightens the skin!

Lemon Cleansing Wipes 

Refreshingly lifts away makeup, dirt, and impurities in one simple step

I’ve been a Micellar Water girl when it comes to removing my makeup for years now but these makeup removing wipes smell too good to resist! They remove makeup easily but I have found that they are a bit stubborn with waterproof mascara. However, washing my face afterward has done the trick!

Overall, these products have been leaving my skin feeling brighter and more refreshed. The scent is amazing and the cute packaging makes me even more excited about taking care of my skin. If you’re interested in purchasing these products be sure to head to your local Walmart as they are a Walmart exclusive!
