Weekly Wrap Up #52

Holy cow! Did I really just type ‘Weekly Wrap Up #52’?! For the third time in my life???? Sure did. Cannot believe today completes three whole years worth of documenting my outfits and bits of my days. To be honest, my twin sister Madison and I sat on my grandmother’s couch three nights ago sifting through old blog posts. My freshman year makeup tutorials, casual outfits, and the first Weekly Wrap Up’s to ever exist and we laughed. We laughed at the innocence and ignorance, the simple happiness of those days. We laughed at moments we forgot we had but were reminded of thanks to this online diary that we’ll forever have. How grateful I am for these years being documented!

As we end each year, a little part of me always questions whether or not I should bring Weekly Wrap Up’s back for the upcoming year. They are unprofessional and far from ‘aesthetic’ as some may say but something about me just cannot knix them all together. They are the reason I started StyledbyMcKenz three years ago; they are a part of not only myself but my family and for those reasons, you’ll be stuck with fifty-two more weeks of my less than perfect life. I hope you don’t mind!

Taking things easy this past week between Christmas and enjoying Winter Break. Got to spend time with all the grandparents while working on the blog and wearing a handful of my new clothes. Sounds like my kind of week, am I right?! Anywho, that’s all for now. Sorry for the unnecessarily long intro; hope you enjoy recapping my last week of 2018! Thanks for sticking around.

12.23.18 – Today I celebrated StyledbyMcKenz turning three! My actual anniversary is on Tuesday, January 1 but I spent the afternoon shooting with one of my good friends GB and eating cake a little early. This is the only sneak peek I’m giving you; you’ll have to check back next week for the real post! It’s going to be my favorite ever.

12.24.18 – Spent Christmas Eve morning opening presents and spending time with my second fam. Followed by Christmas Eve Mass, lots of appetizers, and continuing our tradition of sharing a room waiting for Santa!

12.25.18 – Spent the whole day in pajamas opening presents and spending time with the fam! Organized my room and packed for New York tomorrow.

12.26.18 – Up and at em bright and early this morning as we are headed to New York to visit my other Grandma! Spent the afternoon lounging around catching up before heading to Sephora to do some major damage.

12.27.18 – Shopped all the post-Christmas sales today. Scored some awesome deals and got to spend some of my gift cards! Needless to say, my closet is going to be full when I get home. Then shot some looks for an upcoming blog post!

12.28.18 – Headed to see A Star Is Born today and man was it good! I’m super disappointed by the abrupt ending but adored the movie – the music in it is ah-mazing!

12.29.18 – Spent the morning hanging out with or cousins. The afternoon was spent on a trip to Ulta, recapping December on the blog, and watching another cheesy Hallmark movie. My Grammy loves them too!
