A while back I asked you all via Instagram which brand of swimsuits you wanted me to review next. Several people responded saying they were curious about ShowPo swimsuits. They are on the pricier side of options I’ve shared and to be honest, I was really curious myself. I grabbed two different styles and am sharing my honest opinion on them both today!
The first suit I got was a super cute rose metallic suit. The top is a bandeau style with a nice clasp in the back (not one of the cheap silver kind). The straps are self-tying on this top which is awesome beacuse it can accommodate several different chest sizes. The bottoms are a low waisted, rather full coverage bottom. They are the perfect thickness for my preferred bikini bottom tan line! The color is a gorgeous rose metallic. It’s rather pale but looks almost like a terracotta once it’s wet. As you can tell, it definitely compliments a deep tan!
I was skeptical about the sizing on these suits as I have a tricky time with ShowPo since they are an Australian site. I decided to go with the XS after reading the size charts and am so glad I did. The top fits perfectly as do the bottoms. What’s awesome about ShowPo suits is that the top and bottom are sold separateyl which is a major advantage over some other online retailers.
Overall, the quality of this suit was awesome. It feels a bit softer and thicker than your typical suit from say SheIn or Zaful and the clasp is definitely much nicer. My one bummer on this suit is that there is no padding. Although it isn’t see-through, I do prefer a suit with removable pads so that I can have the option to wear them or not. Another thing I noticed about this suit as I wore it throughout the day is that there was no sand stuck in it. No, I don’t mean sand making it’s way into your bikini bottoms as you swim, I mean sand literally making its way between the two pieces of fabric since most suits are double-lined. I had this problem with a couple other suits but neither of the ShowPo styles.

I decided to go ahead and try out a high waisted option since I know this is the preferred style for many. I was really impressed with this white spotted suit. Not only was it super cute but it was very comfortable as well. The top is just a classic tube top that ties in the back. The bottoms are a full coverage high waisted fit. These are not super high cut on the hips so if your mid-drift isn’t your favorite area, I have a feeling you would like this one.
Again, I chose an XS in both the top and bottom of this set. However, because this top is strapless, if you are in between sizes I would recommend going up. The width of the top is pretty small so if you have a larger chest, I would be fearful that this would slip around while swimming. The bottoms suck you in big time and were much smaller along the waist than I had expected. Again, if you have larger hips or are in between sizes, I would probably recommend going a size in the bottoms as well!
The quality of this suit was awesome; even better than the last one. I was nervous that the white would be see-through but it was not at all, even without pads in the top. I love the look of this suit and the little tie on the side of the bottoms made it even more flattering.

Overall, I am super pleased I gave ShowPo swimsuits a try. They are definitely on the nicer end of swimsuits I’ve reviewed from online retailers but they definitely come with a bigger price tag. keep that in mind before purchasing your next swimmie!
That’s going to be all for today’s review. Thanks so much for stopping by. Be sure to let me know below which style swimsuit you’d like me to try out next! I’d love to hear your thoughts. Talk to you tomorrow!
With love, McKenz
