Fall Shopping Is Approaching

With the Nordstrom Sale in full force, my entire feed has been full of chunky sweaters and boots for the fall time. It’s safe to say I am so not ready for the colder months approaching. However, it is time to at least start thinking about fall fashion. Today I’m sharing four transitional outfits from Express. Although you may not find yourself wearing one of these for another month or so, I wanted to give you some inspiration before tax free week hits!

Sweater Dress +Mules

Sweater dresses are one of the best transition pieces around. They are the perfect piece to reach for as brisker mornings start making their way into the forecast. Or if you’re in an air conditioned building! This one is so cute with it’s wide neckline and ruffle front details. I scrunched up the sleeves so I could pop on my favorite gold jewels. A fun pair of printed mules like these ones from Dolce Vita are the perfect shoe to slip on and go. Booties would make this look a little more “fall” so for that transition period I’m sticking with flats.

Bodysuit + Denim

I cannot believe that I didn’t own a bodysuit until two months ago! I have at least ten now and I cannot get enough of them. I have this style in a few other colors and absolutely love how flattering it is. Camo is so trendy for the fall time and looks adorable tucked into these black denim jeans. I added platform espadrilles to give my look a little height. You could totally wear this out but by popping over a cardigan it’s perfect for class.

Sweater + Button Front Denim

This sweater was on clearance and I’m so glad I picked it up. Slouchy, over sized sweaters are not only super comfortable but easy to wear as well. I tucked this one into a pair of high waisted, button front denim for a fun look. I’m a huge fan of this retro detail and love the way these jeans fit. I sized up to a 0 for a more comfortable fit around the waist.

Bodysuit + Shorts

This bodysuit is one of the best! It’s a super thick material and has got a high cut detail that’s oh so flattering. It’s a thong style that snaps which makes it super easy to use the restroom in. I paired it with these two toned denim cut-offs that are oh so cute. I love the fit of these and they were so soft; I couldn’t possibly pass them up. I added the same black espadrilles to complete a fun summer look and added my favorite aviators at the moment from Discount Glasses.
