Statement Shoes You Need

I’ve been a shoe addict for as long as I can remember. I’ve been a die-hard Chinse Laundry lover for years now so getting the opportunity to be an Ambassador for them has been one of the coolest (and most exciting) opportunities to come my way.

For those of you who have never heard of Chinese Laundry, allow me to educate you. They are a privately held Los Angeles-based women’s footwear company. Over the years they have grown from a small shoe manufacturer to a globally recognized fashion footwear distributor. Their shoes are sold in DSW, Lulu’s, Macys and more. They have four different branch brands that each offer a unique product to meet the needs of various consumers.

Although I have several Chinese Laundry shoes in my closet, today I’m sharing my two most recent pairs that I’m totally in love with. Not only are they perfect for the summertime but I think they will transition so well into the fall months/first weeks of college!

Woven Wedge Sandals 

These woven wedges are so fun! I have been seeing woven shoes everywhere lately and think that they are so adorable. Not only do they give off a beachy, bohemian vibe but they match just about anything. This wedge is super comfortable. They aren’t super short but they aren’t a killer height either. I got these in a size 7.5 because I’m typically a 7.5 or 8 and wish I would’ve gotten the 8. They have no back to them so there are no issues with rubbing or anything like that.

I styled these cuties with a vacation-inspired look in mind. This white plunging neck romper from Zaful is one of my favorites. It’s so gorgeous and can easily be dressed both up and down. I’m wearing it here with all of my favorite straw accessories. This floppy hat has been my go-to all summer long and was a TJ Maxx find. The bag is from Sonja Morgan and matches the shoes perfectly. I wanted to keep things easy and breezy so I added a few of my favorite shell jewels. These are seriously the easiest, most fun way to make your look a little more relaxed yet still put together.

Cheetah Print Wooden Heels

I have been obsessed with this wooden style heel for so long but have never found a pair that suits me well! That is until I found this pair from Chinese Laundry. I mean come on… how perfect are these?! I love the seventies vibe that these give off. These are a bit taller than the woven wedges but just as comfortable. I do wish I had sized up to the 8 to give me a little extra room but the 7.5 are still comfortable on me. The cheetah print is such a fun, trendy touch! I am obsessed.

I paired these cuties with one of my all-time favorite black rompers. This one shoulder, envelope style is from ShowPo and is the best quality ever. I love how these heels dress this look right up. I added fun star statement earrings and my cuff from Target. This look is so simple and yet it’s just right. I’m a huge fan of this look and think it would be perfect if you’re rushing a sorority!
