One of the things I’m most excited for as far as college goes are the football games! I was a cheerleader for thirteen years, making my freshman year of college my first year ever as a fan. Although a little part of me is sad that I’m moving on from that chapter of my life, I’m looking forward to the freedom of no longer having to wear a uniform. I know that game day fashion is a big deal across the United States, especially if you find yourself rushing a sorority.
Today I’m teaming up with Romwe to share some fun game day inspired outfit ideas. Obviously, these are on the dressier side but they suit my personal style best. Feel free to take inspiration from these looks if you like any of them. My school’s colors are navy, gold, and white so I worked off of this color palette. Oh, and most of these looks are geared towards the first few weeks of football season; obviously it will get colder so the styles will change throughout the season!
You can’t go wrong with a simple tank and shorts. I love this little cropped halter top from Romwe. It’s got an open back since it’s a halter style which is such a fun touch. I love the polka dot print paired with some white denim shorts. You could go for any shoes but I wanted to dress it up by adding my favorite gold block heels. This look is so my style. I added gold earrings to match but could’ve added navy to throw in a pop of school spirit!

The further south you go, the dressier game day outfits get. Aside from scrolling through Instagram photos, I’m not exactly sure what the ‘norm’ is for Kent State. Although I’m hoping I could get away with something as bold as this look! This denim dress is the cutest thing ever. It’s got the most flattering ruffled sleeves you’ve ever seen. I pulled in some yellow to my look by adding a pair of earrings and platform sandals for comfort!

Looking to add a little flair to your look? Throw on a mini skirt. This one is so adorable and under $8! I love the cute little ruffle detail. I paired this with a white smocked tube top but you could easily pair a skirt like this with a cropped school tee shirt! There are so many fun ways to mix and match this outfit. I added platforms because they add some sass + dressiness without being uncomfortable. These are the best shoes for standing in!

Linking as many pieces as possible from the looks. Some are out of stock or a few seasons old so I wasn’t able to link them. If you’re thinking about purchasing from Romwe, be sure to use my code ‘morgan’ to save 10% off your purchase!
I’m so excited to be cheering on the flashes on at their first home football game in just a few weeks! How will you be sporting your school spirit to your next game? Let me know below along with any other back to school requests you may have for me. Thanks for stopping by!
