Fall Hues With Express

Fall is officially in the air and while we’ve had a few warmer days here in Ohio this past week, the forecast for the next ten days is showing chilly temperatures and possibly even some snow— yuck! When shopping at Express this month, I found super cute items. Lots of fun fall hues lined the racks and I was able to pick up some pieces to spice up my fall wardrobe. Let’s get styling!

Stripes Season

October really is the best time to wear a striped sweater and when I found this one I just could not resist! I’m always one to reach for a turtleneck, especially when it’s oversized and cozy like this one. It’s got the prettiest hues with the deep purple and orange— so many spooky vibes. I paired it with these jeans that are also from Express. They’ve got a fun seam down the middle that makes them different than your everyday jeans. Because they are true denim, rather than the jegging feel that most Express jeans have to them, they do run a bit smaller! Go up at least one size for a comfortable fit. Booties would’ve looked cute with this look too but I reached for a simple mule to dress this look up a bit instead.

Colorful Cargos

If you read my Express blog post from last month you would know that I picked up these cute cargos in the camo version. I couldn’t resist getting the burnt orange too since it’s the color of the season right now! I adore the fit of these pants and think they are perfect for a multitude of occasions. They look nicer than typical joggers but aren’t as fancy as dress pants! I’m pairing mine with my all-time favorite black crop top from Express and this adorable cardigan that was recently released. The color scheme of it is to die for— with the orange, yellow, and black this was calling my name! I paired those same mules from the first look with this outfit to finish it off.
