November 2019 Pinterest Outfit Recreations

Holy cow has it been a hot minute since I’ve shard a few Pinterest Outfit Recreations with you on my blog! This series used to be one of my favorite monthly posts and for some reason I haven’t done one in months. 

Typically for my Pinterest Outfit Recreations I go and browse through my boards, choosing a few pins that I really love. I then go through my closet and try to find some pieces to recreate the original look. However, I’m doing a little spin on my usual recreations post this month. Romwe sent over some pieces for a haul and I decided to choose pieces from their site that would be super close affordable matches to the higher end clothing featured in the pins I loved! Styling these looks was such a fun challenge and I couldn’t be more excited to share these outfits with you today.

SWEATER DRESS SEASON 

I’m a sucker for a good dress but since living in Ohio I’ve quickly realized I can’t always get away with bare legs! I’ve got a new found love for tights and think they look so stinking cute with a sweater dress. Sweater dresses are perfect on days I need to look nice but it’s super cold out. This one is super thick and has got a nice chunky turtleneck to it which is perfect. I added my favorite black booties to this look. These are seriously the best if you’re looking for a bootie that will get you through any occasion— I love these for dressing up or going out! I know the original photo didn’t have the dress belted but I thought adding one would help sinch the waist and give this sweater dress some shape!

CAMO ON CAMO 

Okay this outfit is so far out of my comfort zone but I have to say, I think I killed it! I have been seeing so much pink camo throughout my Pinterest feed lately and something about it has been really speaking to me lately. I had to give it a go when I found out Romwe was sending over some pieces! These joggers are the perfect canvas material and with a matching cropped, raw hem jacket I think you’ve got the coolest, and most unique matching set going on. I know the picture had the girl wearing a white top but I thought black would look better since I was wearing black heeled booties too. Not sure if I’m bold enough to wear this out of the house but it’s definitely my favorite look of the four since it’s so different!

RACHEL GREEN INSPIRED 

Rachel Green, well Jennifer Aniston in general, is probably my greatest style icon. I love 90s fashion and everything she wore throughout her time on Friends; I even have an entire blog post dedicated to recreating some of my favorite outfits of hers. However, I’ve yet to recreate one of her iconic plaid skirt outfits. I though this would be the perfect one to recreate with Thanksgiving and the holidays coming up so soon! This plaid skirt looks perfect with a chunky white turtleneck like the one I have on. She also wears so many fitted eyelash turtlenecks and Romwe has some great options over on their site right now that would be perfect to pick up. She’s wearing knee high socks in her outfit but I felt over the knee boots would be a bit more fitting and seasonally appropriate. I’ve had this Target pair for years and think they are the best.

MIXED EMOTIONS 

We’re calling this look mixed emotions because it’s got all sorts going on with it. I started off with a distressed graphic tee. This is so different from my usual style but I saw it on Romwe’s site and thought it would be perfect for this recreation. I paired it with this pleather skirt that is easily one of my favorite Romwe pieces ever! It’s the best quality and would be perfect for a multitude of occasions. To class things up a bit I added a black blazer. I love the classy vs edgy vibe that’s going on here and think it’s a cool take on your usual graphic tee outfit.
