I’ve said it a million times but there was a time when I literally refused to wear a coat. I would do absolutely anything to get out of wearing one and when I was cold, would never dare admit to my mom, lol. Well, that is until I came to Ohio for college. I quickly realized upon coming here that there is no getting around wearing a coat. On days when I’m not stuck in my Eddie Baeur parka, I’m finding myself reaching for fun SheIn coats that make a statement. They’ve got so many cute ones and today I’m styling just three of the bunch that recently arrived for me.
This latex looking bomber caught my eye as I was scrolling through SheIn’s site. I have so many latex pieces from there that are so fun for going out that I knew I had to have this coat— I figured it could work for a multitude of occasions here at school. I paired this coat right over a red mock neck tee. I thought this top would look perfect with my red racer stripe jeans from Express; these are some of my favorite jeans. I then slipped on my faux docs from SheIn. I love that these shoes give the outfit an edgy vibe. This cropped puffer is the perfect fit; obviously it isn’t the warmest jacket for the winter but definitely a fun statement piece.

I’m a sucker for faux fur and that is no secret. I have this jacket in white and I am obsessed with it. I couldn’t resist picking it up in the blush pink. I got this in a size medium and I definitely should have sized up to a large. This one runs small but it’s too cute. I paired it over top a white sweater and black bootcut jeans. I popped on my blush pink go-go boots from Marc Fisher to pair with the coat and love the way they pulled the look together. A coat like this is the easiest way to add some spunk to your usual look.

I’ve never been a big leather girl but lately I have been so drawn to this material. I saw this faux leather coat with a bit of faux fur lining the collar and sleeves and just couldn’t help myself. I figured this would be the perfect way for me to try out a leather coat. I thought it would look perfect with an all black look so I stuck with a classic black turtleneck and black jeans from Express. I’m wearing the same boots as before to keep things edgy but added a pair of light tan socks to tie the look together. I also added a simple ring belt to complete the outfit.
