Express Looks For Every Occasion

Y’all…. I headed to the Express in Akron, Ohio earlier this week and boy was it good! I couldn’t believe how much cute stuff they had. Not to mention, the entire store was on sale which made everything there even more tempting. I scored some awesome stuff that’s perfect for a variety of different occasions that I can’t wait to style for you today.

Always Animal 

You should have known no blog post of mine would be complete without some animal print. I’ve been on this kick for months now and just cannot seem to stop. I’ve been buying and wearing tons of leopard lately but Express has recently released so many cute zebra pieces that I’m switching things up. I scored this one on clearance and fell in love with it instantly. I had to snag it while I could— I love a good mock neck. When I went to Express this week I was on a mission to find black flares; these were right in the front of the store and instantly caught my eye. I had to snag these because they fit like a glove. I love that they are a cargo material rather than denim so they can easily be dressed up or down. I wrapped up this look with a pair of black booties and some rose gold jewelry.

Cozied Up 

Okay, I know this outfit is really different than something I’d usually share, but hear me out. I was wanting to try something different! I saw one of these cute cardigans that are meant to be worn buttoned up and couldn’t keep myself from trying it out. I love the relaxed vibe of this fit and think it looks too cute pulled off the shoulder a bit. I’m wearing it with (shocker!) a pair of Express joggers. I have these in five colors now and would buy them in five more if they had more options! I love the fit of these joggers and think they are just the softest, most comfortable pants for lounging around. They totally feel as comfy as sweats but they look much more presentable. I tried to dress them up with booties because I’ve been seeing this look on Pinterest a lot; but, truthfully I feel like sneakers may have been more fitting.

Movie Moment

Wanting something sparkly for the holidays? Same, which is why I had to pick up this cute wrap top. I love something with a little shimmer and forgot how much I love blush pink around this time of year. I knew this top would pair perfectly with my Marc Fisher go-go boots and figured this look would be complete with a pair of flares. I got this pair a few months back but still wear them like crazy. They are so comfortable and I love the raw hems! Pop on some statement earrings and you’ve got the perfect look. I think a fur coat over top would complete this for any holiday party.

Going Out 

You up? If so, you should be shopping the Express sale! Everything I’m sharing with you today is 50% off including this number I’ve got on here. I saw this leather tube top and had to have it. This is so perfect for wearing out at school or for a New Years look. If you’re looking to take it from party to prep, you could layer a turtleneck underneath for an unexpected look! I paired this top with an all black look on bottom— my favorite ripped skinny jeans and my never fail black booties that are so comfy for going out. You can never go wrong with a monochrome look like this one!
