The weather here has been absolutely awful since arriving for winter break! Lots of gloomy days and rain— the sun has hardly made an appearance at all. Thankfully I pre-photographed some looks while in Ohio so I have some outfits to share with you today.
Recently, I have been trying out so many different SheIn shoes! Their shoe sizing can be tricky and truthfully the pairs themselves can be super hit or miss, which is why I love trying out their stuff to share the good, the bad, and everything in between. I’ve got some killer pairs today that you’re going to love!
Doc Martens are all the rage in Ohio and I feel like every other girl has a pair of them. I was feeling left out from my roomies who effortlessly rock these shoes on a daily basis and had to pick up this pair. A fellow blogger shared these on her story and said they were such a good dupe for Docs so I had to snag them. You definitely need to go up a size in these but they are so adorable. I love the chunky platform and that these can get wet.
They definitely aren’t fully waterproof but I have a feeling they will hold up just fine with all the salt and slush happening at school. These are super comfy for the style shoe they are and they look awesome. My mom doesn’t think I’m much of a Docs girl but I will admit, trying this style for such an affordable price is the way to go if you’re unsure about biting the bullet! I paired mine with a cute white leopard sweater and some ripped black jeans for an everyday look. You could easily transition these into a going out look as well!

Bean boots are another shoe that I feel like everyone has a pair of! I love duck style boots and have already worn my pair a few times this winter. However, I love the idea of a baby bean boot. These are so great for a day of leftover slush or if you simply want the look of bean boots but don’t want something as clunky.
I got an 8 in these and they fit true to size, however they are a little wide around the ankle which is why I’m wearing a thicker pair of socks with these. They’ve got a light lining of flannel too which is adorable. This pair of shoes is perfect with a classic sweater and jeans. Pop on a fun coat and you’re good to go for class. With no laces and a chelsea style fit to them, these are perfect for slipping on to run out the door for things like grabbing food or your mail!

I fought and fought with my dad before leaving for college, swearing that I would never be caught dead in a pair of winter weather/snow boots. Well folks, here I am…. Truthfully, I’m all for winter boots if they are as cute as this pair— it’s all about finding the style that suits you. These boots were calling my name and boy am I glad I got them; I’ve already snagged them in the black too.
I sized up a whole size in these and am so glad I did— they fit very comfortably with a thick sock which is just what I wanted! These lace up but also have a zipper on the side which make them a bit easier to get on and off. They’ve got the perfect heel height and with a little bit of fur along the ankle, these are so sassy and chic! I knew winter white would get dirty which is why I grabbed a pair of these from SheIn— because they were on the more affordable side, I won’t be super upset if these don’t last me more than one winter! I’m wearing these with a fuzzy white eyelash sweater, a cute fur vest, and a zebra belt to tie the look together.

I’m a sucker for these shoes and am so glad I gave them all a go. I’ve definitely gotten duds from SheIn but I’ve had even more awesome pairs. Linking some of my go to pairs so you can shop. If you buy before December 30 you can save 15% off with my code Q4mckenz15. My best advice for boots is to go up on size and sneakers two! Heels tend to run true to size.
What kind of boots will you be sporting this winter? I’ll def be adding a few more pairs to my collection in the near future and will be sure to keep you posted on which pairs I love. Do you want to see more blog posts centered around styling shoes? I would love to hear below. Talk to you soon!
With love, McKenz
