Outfit Ideas For The End Of The Year

Christmas is over but that doesn’t mean the year is! I know others are still celebrating holidays and with the New Year right around the corner, it’s time to end 2019 off with a bang! Today I’m teaming up with Romwe to share some outfit ideas that will help get you though the end of the year. 

Holiday Red 

I would consider the entire month of December an excuse to wear red! This sweater has been coming up in my recommended for months now and I finally decided to give it a chance. I love the shilouette of this one— there’s nothing I love more than a cropped fit, mock neck, and wide sleeves. This sweater checked all the boxes and paired perfectly with a pair of high waisted jeans from Express. To coordinate with the white in the sweater, I’m wearing my favorite pair of white SheIn booties. These are a bit pointier than my usual shoe but they are just the cutest! I accessorized with a clear bag that I just cannot get enough of. This bag is so fun and different— and if you’re a college student like me, so practical.

Pattern Mixing 

Okay, okay, I know this coat isn’t everyone’s style but when I saw it on the model, I knew I had to give it a go! I am such a sucker for anything faux fur and this white and black striped one was just calling my name. It’s super soft and well made, as most of their furs are, and it’s the best length to wear for the holidays. It’s got 3/4 length sleeves which is different for me but I ended up really loving that look with a tank top dress underneath. I’m wearing a faux leather dress that matches my booties! To keep warm I’m wearing a pair of polka dot stockings to incorporate a little bit of pattern mixing! Although different, I loved the way this look ended up coming together.

Cardigan Sweater 

I’m sure by now you’ve seen lots of different cardigans being worn buttoned up as sweaters. I think it’s such a fun spin on your usual cardigan. Truthfully, I don’t reach for a lot of cardigans in my closet so I will definitely be trying this tactic every now and then to change things up a bit. It wouldn’t be a styling post from me without some leopard; I love the black and white eyelash look. I front tucked this sweater into a pair of black jeans from Express and popped on those same white booties from before. I’ve got on the clear bag again (I’m obsessed and have been carrying it everywhere!) and added a cute pair of black cat-eye glasses to spice things up.
