Calling all animal print lovers…. boy, do I have the outfit combinations for you! I know, I know I just did a shoe post on Friday but I can’t help myself— I get my shoe addiction from my momma. I collaborated with White Mountain in early January, sharing two super cute pairs of snow booties; I instantly fell even more in love with their company!
Today I’m teaming up with them yet again. However, this time around I’m styling two pairs of shoes that couldn’t be any more different. I’ll be honest, neither pair of shoes I’m sharing with you today are your typical pairs of shoes. I cannot imagine you’d ever wear these on a day to day basis but for the right occasion, both of these pairs are, what I would call, a necessity.
I have been dying for a pair of cowgirl boots for months now. I’m not really sure what has gotten into me lately but I have been on the biggest country kick ever. I’m talking from the music to the hats to the cow print everything that has started filling my closet— no seriously a clutch, jacket, and bodysuit all came in the mail for me this past weekend. And while cowgirl boots are definitely not your everyday attire, I figured they are the kind of shoe that every girl has in their closet for when the time comes.
I couldn’t love these more. Like most cowgirl boots, I feel as though these run a bit narrower than your typical shoe. However, they are true to size. I am wearing an 8 in the color brown. Just for the heck of it, I decided to go full-on cowgirl mode to pair with these boots. I’ve had this cow print dress sitting in my closet for ages now and have been dying to find the right time to wear it. I figured with a little western belt cinching the waist and a pair of boots on, this look would be perfect for a country concert, a theme party, or a Monday morning when you just need a spunky outfit to make you smile.
I can assure you that I will be wearing this outfit when seeing Jon Pardi live from a crappy lawn seat in the coming months. Mark my words now; I am speaking this into existence and will obviously be doing it in style thanks to White Mountain! Yeehaw!!!!!!

On the complete opposite side of the spectrum, I’ve got a total runway-ready pair of snakeskin boots. When picking these boots out I envisioned myself strutting my stuff down the oh so ~glamarous~ (jk) streets of New York City but unfortunately, these beauties didn’t get here in time for my trip. However, I can assure you these will be getting their fair share of wearing in— even if it means wearing them to the grocery store, duh!
On a serious note, these shoes are amazing. Animal print is in and there’s no better way to make a statement than with a pair of knee-highs. I’m past the point of making a subtle pop, I’m all for a bold shoe like this pair. These are from Seven Dials which is White Mountain’s sister company. They carry shoes that are a bit more suitable for the teen/twenty-something. They have so many good pairs for school and going out! I’m wearing an 8 in these and while they do fit my foot, if you are in between sizes I would suggest going up. While these say they are 3.5 inches tall, I found that they are a super manageable height. Obviously not for a long-distance walk, but they aren’t super uncomfortable by any means either.
I wanted these shoes to be the center of attention so I paired them with an all-black look. I did, however, add a matching belt to tie the print in somewhere else throughout the outfit. I am dying to find a place to wear this outfit because it is just that good! Leather leggings or a black mini skirt are two other options that would pair perfectly with these boots.
