Oh, wow! What a crazy last few twenty-four hours it has been. In the midst of my Art History class yesterday afternoon Kent State released an email alerting it’s students that all face to face classes were to be canceled immediately for the remainder of this week due to the Coronavirus. On Monday we will move to all online classes until April 13th. We aren’t required to leave campus however it is strongly encouraged which has left everyone in an uproar.
It was like all hell broke loose across campus with people frantically making travel arrangements and packing their bags. I’ll be honest, I’ve spent much of the last day anxiously going back and forth with when to leave and soaking in these moments with my friends and roommates. As much as I said I was ready to go home, I didn’t mean for potentially the rest of my freshman year!
Anywho, with all of that being said, things are crazy on my end which is why today’s blog post is coming at you a bit later than normal. I also wanted to give you all a heads up that if you don’t hear from me too much over the next week or so that’s why— just trying to get home and get back into a routine. Regardless, today I’m here to share some adorable white tops for the springtime. One of the reasons I’m most excited about being sent home is that it’s so much warmer there right now! I cannot wait to break out some of these fun trends this spring.
I wore this outfit to class last week and loved it so much I decided I had to grab some photos in it. I recently received this top from SheIn and am so in love with it. The tiered belle sleeves are adorable and I just love how wide they are. I think this top can work for a multitude of occasions and can give off a western or bohemian vibe depending on how you choose to style it.
Because the sleeves are so big and billowy, I felt flare jeans would complement this top so well! This pair is by far one of my favorites. As for accessories, I wanted to keep things simple but give them more of a western feel. If you read Monday’s blog post you’d know my country kick is going strong right now so this outfit should be no surprise to you all! This black western belt paired with these buckled booties makes for the perfect combination.

Isn’t this top just the cutest thing you’ve ever seen?! I have been seeing fringe details on a wide variety of tops lately so when I saw this tank I knew I needed to snag it. I love fringe for the springtime and think it adds so much character to pieces. This tank wraps around the neck making for a super unique neckline.
This would look just too cute over a swimsuit or with a floppy hat on the beach. However, I’m still in good ole Ohio so light wash jeans and a pair of espadrilles will have to do for now. I love incorporating pops of yellow into my wardrobe once the weather starts to warm up a bit. As cute as these flats are though, they run super small— go up two sizes for sure!

This top is so perfect as we transition into spring temperatures over the next few weeks. I’m pretty much a tried and true turtleneck lover in the winter so moving to mock necks over the next few weeks is going to be a must for me! I love the cute lettuce hems and bishop sleeves on this white cropped top.
I’m pairing this top with just a simple pair of dark wash skinny jeans. However, I think a pair of mom jeans would’ve looked even cuter with this shirt. For shoes, I’m wearing these white fur mules that I’ve had on repeat lately. I love these when just needing something simple to slip on and go. A statement pair of earrings complete this outfit just fine!

As we start seeing more sunshine I’m sure I’ll be sporting all kinds of fun, trendy white tops. I love all of these and cannot wait to share more tops like them in the coming weeks. Which style is your favorite? Let me know in the comments below! Hope you are staying safe and healthy. I will (hopefully) be talking to you on Wednesday!
With love, McKenz
