6 Ways To Wear Loungewear

Well, I think by now we’ve all accepted our quarantine fate. We’re not going anywhere anytime soon which means a few more months to cozy up in some cute new loungewear. I grabbed my first pair of Boohoo joggers a few months back and you all fell in love with them just as much as me! Since then I’ve racked up quite the collection and am hooked on grabbing their loungewear for our monthly collaborations.

For today’s post, I thought what better thing to share than six ways to wear loungewear this spring! I’ve started to transition out of my matching sweatsuits and into a few lighter basics as the temps warm up. Figured these looks were too cute not to share with you!

Edge It Up 

I’m sure most of you have a pair of black sweats and a white long sleeve in your closet. Throw those on and start off your look with just the basics. You’re starting off with a super simple look but by accessorizing with some edgier pieces you’ll totally bring this look to life! First, begin with a pair of chunky sneakers; these are from SheIn and I love the white and black contrast.

I’m then playing around with some jewelry to elevate the look. You’ll see in most of these outfits that some simple gold jewelry will really transform your outfit. I’m reaching for gold hoops, a few layered necklaces, my favorite watch, and a belt bag. Not only are belt bags “in” but they are the perfect accessory for quarantine. No need to bring a purse on your errands, leaving it in the cart with even more germs! Belt bags can be worn right across your chest with easy access to just the essentials.

Monochrome 

Oh, how I love this color combination together! I picked up these Sage joggers on a whim. This was the only color I didn’t have in this specific style of joggers and I just had to have them. They are a muted green that’s just a subtle splash of color. I love the way they look with this tee!

This shirt isn’t cropped I just have it tucked under my bra to give it a cropped look! I love this little hack because it saves you from having to hack off the bottom half of your favorite tees. I’m wearing this monochrome combo with some white chunky sneakers. These are some of my favorite shoes I own; I reach for them constantly when styling loungewear since they are so easy to throw on!

Airy Bottoms

These joggers are super lightweight compared to some of the other styles. They are a much thinner material that is great as we transition into the warmer months. I love this simple white tee with these bottoms for just lounging around the house. This is an awesome outfit option if you’re wanting to get out of your pajamas but still want to stay comfy.

Faux clear glasses will spice up your look just a tad and platform sneakers will complete your outfit if you find yourself needing to run to the grocery store throughout the day.

The Classic Crop

Oh, how I love a good oversized, cropped tee! This one is just the cutest and I’m so glad I grabbed it. Boohoo has so many awesome basics if you couldn’t tell already; the best part is they are super affordable too!  I re-wear their stuff constantly as all my closet essentials are from them.

I paired this tee with a pair of grey joggers. I never understood why people loved grey joggers so much until I grabbed this pair. These are the same style and fit as the green pair and I am in love. They are extra comfy and fit me like a glove— just the right amount of fitted. I love wearing furry mules with my jogger looks. I think they dress the outfit up just enough and they give the look a classier vibe. I popped on some black sunnies to make me feel super ~cool~.

Pop of Pastel

You can never go wrong with a pop of pastel in the springtime. This is just the cutest little long sleeve crop! It’s also the perfect color to mix and match with all your basic bottoms. I’m pairing mine with a super oversized pair of white joggers.

These are some of my new favorite bottoms! They are super baggy throughout the legs making them extra cozy. So perfect for a day curled up in bed. A few gold accessories and white chunky sneakers to finish off the look will do just the trick!

Matching Set 

I had to grab a cute little matching set! However, I switched things up a bit and went for a short set as it is obviously getting warmer out. I love this little mock neck top with the shorts. You could easily mix and match these pieces which makes them even more versatile!

I threw on that same pair of chunky sneakers I was wearing in the first look and piled on the gold chunky jewelry. This outfit is so different than my usual style but it’s giving me such Hailey Bieber vibes and I’m loving that. To really take this simple set to the next level, I popped on a clear bag and black cat-eye sunglasses.

Usually, when I want to share new clothes with you I sit down and share the items one by one haul style. Today I still wanted to share my new items with you but wanted to switch things up a bit. Instead of a typical haul, today I’m sharing a handful of different outfit ideas + giving you some styling tips.
