Week In My Life + Outfit Of The Week

Oh, how time is still flying by even during quarantine! Last week was my first official week of summer and I took most of the week “off” to unwind after finals and let myself have a little fun. However, it was back to business this week. I hit the ground running and am making the transition from student to full time ~influencer~. I’ve had a crazy busy week of shooting and uploading content; practically every second has been consumed! I’m working my booty off to better Styled by McKenz in every way possible; I hope you’re able to tell.

We had the most gorgeous weather here all week which not only made quarantine a little more bearable but it made getting my work done so much more manageable. Plus, I’ve been able to wear some super cute outfits. Which one is your favorite? I’m going to have to go with either Tuesday or Thursday but I want to hear your vote in the comments below. THIS WEEK’S WEEK IN MY LIFE VLOG

It was a crazy busy week around here! I shared two different vlogs this week, one from Sunday-Monday, and another Tuesday-Thursday. I’ve taken the last few days off from vlogging but will be starting back up today, don’t worry. WHAT’S HAPPENING THIS WEEK

5.10.20— Today was Mother’s Day and we had a family zoom session to kick off the day! We had a pretty chill day around here but mom requested crab legs for dinner and so we delivered. I also got tons of planning done today as I’m trying to get a summer posting schedule figured out; I’m so excited for all of the college content coming your way soon!

5.11.20— Kicking off the work week with my usual Monday morning routine, writing a blog post, pinning it, and responding to emails. I then sat down and cranked out another blog post, planned out some outfits, and posted a giveaway to my Instagram. 5.12.20— I woke up bright and early this morning so I could get right to work. I don’t usually prefilm videos but I managed to get six filmed today and man did it feel good! Creating content makes me so happy and I’m praying we have more days like this one because the lighting was absolutely perfect. My next order of business for today was shooting outfits; Madison and I headed into town and got ten different outfits photographed; woohoo! Today was the busiest most productive day I’ve had since quarantine and man did it feel good.

5.13.20— Just another day of getting work done! I uploaded one of the videos I filmed yesterday and posted some of the photos we shot to the blog today. I then spent the afternoon writing a freelancing post for Terani, updating my Shop tab, and filming a Q&A with my twin sister that I can’t wait for you to see. Mid-way through my day I did the top three quarantine songs thing that’s been going around on Insta—thought I’d share my favorites with you. It was also Mr. Manion’s 50th birthday today so I headed over to their house for some cornhole and birthday cake.

5.14.20— Today I had an editing marathon with all of the videos I filmed on Tuesday. I’ll be the first to admit that editing videos is definitely not my favorite activity but it felt good to get so much work accomplished; Madison and I then headed to Mount Airy for a photoshoot! We knocked out nine looks and when I got home I was able to film another video and enjoy dinner on the deck. Such a gorgeous day out!

5.15.20— I decided that after such a busy few weeks I deserved some time to relax outside and enjoy the sun today; that is after I finished editing and uploading a blog post and YouTube video. It felt so good to sit in my Tommy Bahama chair all afternoon. Madison and I eventually came inside to get showered and ready for a few activewear photos at our highschool. We picked up Chipotle for dinner and I went live on Instagram after eating. Paid my Manions a quick visit and then called it quits for the week.

5.16.20— The work just keeps piling up it seems like! This morning I had two different hauls to film before packing up my bags to go shoot some photos. Madison and I only got six outfits photographed because we drove around looking for a specific location for ages and still never found it! Oh, well. Came home got changed and headed to the Manions as a fam for a little cookout on the deck. Connor and I whooped Madison and Chase in cornhole a dozen times and we then had our own “quarantine Olympics” which I proceeded to get zero points in, lol. Today was so good.
