It has been so long since I’ve shared any workout wear with you guys. Let’s just say quarantine hasn’t been totally productive for me in the fitness aspect—Chloe Ting’s two-week shred has yet to make it into my everyday routine, lol. However, I recently picked up some new activewear sets and I was so pleased with them all that I wanted to share them with you today.
I’ve tried my fair share of SheIn activewear and “ll be the first to admit it’s pretty hit or miss. When you get a polyester/spandex blend, 9/10 times it sucks. Too loose in the waist, baggy around the butt, see-through, and just overall such cheap quality. However, when you stumble across a pair that is a mix of nylon and spandex, like this yellow pair, they are so good. I have several pairs of these and love them for my days on the stepper.
I have been dying to get my hands on yellow leggings for months now and haven’t been able to find the color anywhere. I found this pair from SheIn one night while scrolling and added them to my cart immediately. Not only is this seamless style so comfortable, but it’s also an exact dupe of GymShark leggings. They have several pairs similar to this one and I’ve been grabbing them left and right for me to wear to the gym once it opens back up.
These ones have a super cute sinch along the butt and are the perfect length on me. I wouldn’t say this specific color is totally squat proof; however, all of the other colors I’ve tried are since they are much darker! Overall, for $15 these really cannot be beat.

This was my second month collaborating with Fabletics over on Instagram and I was so pleasantly surprised by this set. I grabbed the navy and neon orange because I have very little neon in my workout wardrobe and figured this would be a fun pop of color. Boy, was I right!
Initially I thought these leggings were going to be a bust. They look like they were made for a 6 year old when you look at them; they are a seamless material that shrivels up to nothing when they aren’t on. However, they fit like an absolute glove upon trying them on. These hug you in all the right places and suck in every inch of you. They are great for high-intensity workouts—I wore these on a ten-mile hike with Connor and had no complaints. However, if you want a more comfortable, looser fit for lounging around I would definitely recommend sizing up in the bottoms.
I will give them extra points for having pockets though and being completely squat proof. The sports bra has a high neck which as you can tell from this post, is one of my favorite styles to wear while working out. I like high neck sports bras because they provide a lot of support and keep your boobs in place while working out. This one was not padded and has a really cute cut-out along the back. I’m wearing a small in the top and it fits perfectly.

It’s very rare that I purchase a matching workout set (that comes together) from SheIn but I wanted to give this one a try. The sports bra and leggings are not sold separately but luckily I am the same size on top and bottom so I was in the clear. I really disliked the padding that came in this sports bra— it had one, straight across pad that has a bunch of push-up to it and it looked so weird; I took it out and I liked it so much better after doing so.
As you can tell, this sports bra is a high neck style too and this one was very comfortable. These leggings are much softer than the Fabletics ones which make me think that these would be better for a lower intensity workout like sitting on the bike or an ab circuit. I have a dozen pairs similar to this one and wear them constantly! This one felt a bit cheaper in quality so I would imagine this wouldn’t hold up too well after five or so washes. However, it’s still a much more affordable option/dupe for the Gym Shark set.

Now that I’ve got some cute new workout wear on my hands, perhaps it will inspire me to get my butt in shape! We shall see. If you want to see more workout wear reviews or even a battle of the brands legging edition, be sure to let me know. What’s your favorite brand to purchase workout wear from? I’d love to hear.
