Weekly Wrap Up #31 2020

It has been such an odd week between “recovering” from travel mode and “preparing” for this week’s trip to the Outer Banks. I always hate that in-between time because I feel so scatter-brained. I spent practically every waking minute this week shooting content, filming videos, and writing blog posts. I’m trying to get as much content knocked out so that when I go back to school I can take it easy the first week and have some time to adjust + find a new, consistent photographer. It’s kicking my booty now but I know I will thank myself later!

Oh, I almost forgot to mention— Madison chose my outfits Monday-Friday this week for a fun YouTube video that’s going up today. They were a bit different than what I’d chose myself but she had fun mixing things up. THIS WEEK’S VLOG

No new week in my life this week but I did vlog Wednesday-Friday showing you a glimpse into my work days, packing with me for North Carolina, and more. I will be vlogging our vacation in the Outer Banks so don’t worry, an hour long video should be coming your way very soon! In the meantime, go give this one a watch.

WHAT’S HAPPENING THIS WEEK

7.26.20— Had the most successful closet sale today and it felt so good to get stuff out of the house! I made dozens of sales and got rid of everything but two brown boxes. I’m leaving for school very soon so I needed stuff out of the house as soon as possible; plus it always feels good to purge!

7.27.20— Headed to Ikea this morning to make an exchange and then took Madison on a surprise ride to Best Buy to help her pick a new computer. We didn’t end up buying her anything but I am so excited to be doing something special for her as a thank you for all of her help this summer!

7.28.20— Today’s goal was to get as much work done as possible and man did I make that happen! I filmed a few different videos, wrote a blog post, and got lots of editing done. This is the kind of day that leaves me so exhausted by the end but pays off in the long run!

7.29.20— Up and at ’em for another busy workday today! Madison and I headed to downtown Crown for one of our last photoshoots of the summer. We had gorgeous weather and the pictures turned out awesome for all eight looks; felt so good to be back at it together! We filmed a video together once we got home for YouTube next week.

7.30.20— I had a marathon kind of day of editing and filming videos. I am trying to get ahead before leaving for the beach and with tons of brand deals lined up, I’ve spent 80% of my days either talking to a camera or looking at my computer screen. Went on a walk with Mr. Manion to get my blood flowing tonight!

7.31.20— It’s our last day before heading to the beach which means running around like a chicken with my head cut off. I can’t even begin to tell you how much editing and pre-writing I did for the next week or so. I’m so looking forward to a week of relaxing. Mrs. Manion and Chase came home today after two weeks away and so I got to see them too before my trip. Oh, and I packed somewhere in between all of that!

8.1.20— Woke up bright and early this morning and headed to the Outer Banks with the fam. We’re supposed to be getting a bad tropical storm here but are hoping to stick it out and get some sunshine later this week. The waves were so fun today!
