3 Ways To Wear Athleisure This Season

With school online in less than two weeks I know I’m going to be turning towards athleisure more and more. I mean come on, who can resist a trendy athletic look when learning from the comfort of their own bed? I certainly can’t!

About a month ago I received my first pair of Spanx leggings and I have been hooked ever since. They really are game-changing— whether you need something for the gym or class, they’ve got everything. Today I’ve got a few more of their pieces to share with you. Regardless of what your school year is going to look like, you’ll sure to be doing it in style with these outfit ideas!

Off Duty Athlete 

I’ve got my fair share of athletic leggings but I have few pairs that are solely meant to be worn as athleisure. When I stumbled across these, I knew I needed them. With lots of work from home days ahead of me, staying comfy + stylish is a must for me. These leggings are super high rise sucking you in in all of the most flattering spots. The faux leather panel along the side is a fun, unexpected accent that will surely spice up your outfit.

These would be so cute with an oversized hoodie or even a graphic tee but I went for that “athlete off duty” vibe by throwing on a matching sports bra. This black bra has got medium support which is perfect. This will work perfectly for your morning errands but has enough support for your afternoon gym session if need be. I popped on some of my favorite chunky New Balance sneakers to finish off my outfit.

Biker Short Babe

I have officially been converted to the biker shorts life. I honestly never thought the day would come but I’ll admit, influencers have done a really good job persuading me into giving them another shot. I realized that I needed a pair with a shorter inseam to flatter my petite frame; the Spanx 4″ pair is perfect on me.

Sport these to the gym, with an oversized tee, or with a cropped top like I am here. I love keeping things simple and am wearing mine with a white tee and new Nike sneakers. To give your look a little spunk I recommend layering up on gold jewlery, hoops, and a pair of black oversized sunnies. You’ve instantly transformed a “bland” outfit into something super on-trend.

Camo Calling 

As most of you know, I am an absolute sucker for camo. Last month I picked up a camo two-piece set from Spanx that is apart of their Seamless collection. However, after trying and loving their faux leather line, I decided that a camo faux leather pair was just what my closet needed. Now I’ve got the best of both worlds!

These leggings can be dressed up with a cute tunic and sandals or made athleisure with sneakers and a matching sports bra. I love this bra— it’s got a metallic-like sheen and a bit of mesh along the center for a fun accent. I’m always popping on fun sunglasses to complete my looks. This outfit works for whatever your day may bring!

While Spanx are definitely more of a splurge item, I promise you they are worth every penny! They are such high quality and will leave you both looking and feeling your best. I cannot wait to style these items even more this fall and am looking forward to adding even more Spanx items to my wardrobe soon!
