I’ve had dozens of you requesting outfit ideas to wear out to the bars recently. While I’m definitely not seasoned in that category (I’m clearly not 21, lol!) I wanted to give my best attempt for all my of age ladies out there. Today I’m teaming up with Pretty Little Thing to share some adorable outfits; whether you’re headed to meet your girls or out to meet a boy (a very typical first date apparently) you’re sure to do it in style with one of these outfits!
Please keep in mind that Corona is still very much a thing right now so don’t forget your mask and social distancing rules. Oh, and maybe ditch that bar crawl you had planned for your 21st birthday. It can wait; stick with just your roomies for now!
A little black on black option will forever be my go-to when going out anywhere. You simply cannot go wrong with monochrome and this combination is killer regardless of the occasion. Start off in a bodysuit. These are my secret weapon to going out; no more worrying about your shirt coming untucked as you dance the night away. These long sleeves are so feminine and fun.
Make your look a little edgy with leather shorts. I wear these all the time and they look amazing belted. I always wear this belt + star earring combo and it scores me compliments every time I wear it. It adds just enough dimension to the outfit paired with the polka dots. I’m reaching for heels because they make me feel confident + in charge, but reach for whichever shoes leave you feeling your best.

I know some ladies prefer a more laid back look and for those girls, I present you with this outfit right here. I don’t know about you but there are some days I just need to slip into my favorite denim shorts. My fix to that “craving”— reach for white denim to look a bit classier and to make your summer tan pop.
This top is so cute for the bars with its wrap front and tie side details. To elongate the legs and for a flat shoe option, reach for lace-up sandals. These will give you the dressiness of heels and yet they will leave you comfortable all night long. I love the metallic gold paired with gold jewelry! This outfit isn’t too try hard and yet it’s still adorable.

You know that girl who looks good in everything, even just jeans and a tee? You’ll be that girl with this effortless combination right here. Rather than a boxy tee-shirt, go for a white crop top. This one is so flattering with its ring detail and deep v-neck. I love something on the plunging side for a night out!
Pair your tiny crop top with a pair of high rise denim. These flares are crazy comfortable for dancing (they are Stretch+ from Express!) and because they are cropped they give you the chance to show off a cute pair of kicks. If you’re basic go for white chunky sneakers but if you’re headed somewhere nicer and/or need the confidence boost of heels, go for something with a clear strap to lengthen the legs. Don’t forget a cute crossbody!
