Well, friends, I’ve officially been at school for an entire week which means summer is winding down and the school year is starting up. Summer is undoubtedly my favorite season to dress for, and I’d be lying if I said I was ready to say goodbye to it.
So, as a last hoorah, today I’m sharing my final few looks of the summer. You’ll notice that these photos were taken at home in Maryland; I had a ton of photos stockpiled so I could take my few days here to get acclimated before shooting new content! Bear with me; it’ll be back to good ole downtown Kent soon enough.
There’s nothing I love more than a cute babydoll dress. I rocked this style all summer long and it was the best! I love babydoll silhouettes because they have some shape to them with tiered ruffles and a fitted bodice, yet they’ve got a swing element to them that makes them so flirty and feminine.
You can find me in a pair of white shoes almost daily; I finally grabbed a new pair of white mules and have been getting tons of use out of them already. Pop on a matching shoulder bag and bam you’ve modernized everyone’s favorite 90s-early 2000s trends.

I suppose this outfit is more of a summer to fall transition look but it’s too cute not to include in today’s blog post. Tie front details are so trendy right now and this thick, ribbed top is no exception. You can easily dress this up or down, making it suitable for any occasion.
Because it is on the shorter side, high rise jeans are a must. These flares fit me like a glove and are a new favorite in my denim collection. The cropped fit allows for a white block heel to be the center of attention. Pop on fun puff ball earrings to tie the look together.

Two summer trends that will never go out of style: blush pink and gingham. This dress has them both which is why I’m loving it so much. There’s something so classy about this combo! This summer, smocked dresses were all the rage. I’m typically not a fan of bodycon pieces on me but the ruffles and bow straps on this were the perfect accents.
I love a good pair of wedges for some additional height. I’m popping on a pink pair to match and huge floral earrings to draw some attention to my face. It doesn’t get any cuter than this!

Although I’m sad to see summer fashion go, I have to admit, I am so excited to start styling some transition looks for you. I’ve already got some adorable looks planned that will be going up soon in the coming weeks. Chunky sweaters and heeled booties are on the horizon; get excited! Let me know which summer trend you’ll miss the most in the comments below. Flowy dresses will definitely be mine… Thanks so much for stopping by!

Love the outfits!! I’ll miss flowy mini skirts the most as a summer trend. However, I’m so ready for sweaters, booties, jeans, skirts, and some fun printed pants!
Amazing summer fashion ideas. This is a great way to saying goodbye to summer fashion.
